Yes, but it’s been established that he still has to go back and live out the rest of his life and do all those things that the older version did. His life is not linear. Nor has it ever been I suppose. This just adds another chapter and more complexity in that regard, but it’s par for the course as we already know that OG Cable jumped back and forth a lot and visited different time periods at different points in his life, even going back and meeting En Sabah Nur when he was a young man in the ancient past.

Traveling to the ancient past and infecting En Sabah Nur with the Techno-Organic virus was what screwed up Nathan's continuity.

I never said it was a good addition to his backstory. Nor is this particular chapter with “Kid Cable.” Ha. But it is what it is I guess. Until it’s not.
