Captain, in Order to build a better world, sometimes means tearing the old one down... And that makes enemies.
Who’s actually providing the beer though?
Are there any mutants who are moonshiners?
Hey X-Youth-Fam.
SO.
I'm curious.... and STARVED for X-talk, so lemme ask y'all.....
We find ourselves blessed with a future storyline, involving our beloved X-youths. A few years in the future, so they've been aged up to adulthood -- mid/late 20's, and have begun mentoring some mutant youths... taking them on missions, etc.
Specifically adorable Miss BO:
My question/poll(?): In a post Krakoa existence, with resurrection/repowering protocols available, who would folks like to see as Bo's team of mentors?
Hellion? Surge? Wind Dancer? Dust? Speak on it, X-fam.
I honestly think the weight of the future belongs on Anole’s shoulders. He’s the perfect mix of Cyclops, Nightcrawler and Wolverine, plus he’s gay.
I wish his mutant name didn’t sound like “anal” tho.
Ha ha ha ha. I LOVE the idea of Victor ascending to leadership status and getting that respect.
You do know that his name is intended to be pronounced Uh-Nowl, right? HUGLZ
Edit: The more and more I saw that out loud, the more and more I see your dilemma. hahaha. Disregard. hahaha.

Is Bo a magic user? Would Pixie be a good mentor?
How do people pronounce Anole? I think im doing it wrong.
Uh-no-lee
ay nole sounds too much like you know
Bo was never developed beyond that one issue when Kitty and Yana found her.
She could emit these bioluminescent cords(?) that had a significant impact on the nervous system maybe? When she used them, she knocked out Kitty, Yana and an incoming Monster. Its her mutant power. So she's not magical.
Joe Glass and Kris Anka pitched a Young X-Men series some years ago that wasn't picked up, https://twitter.com/JosephGlass/stat...14732534796291
Honestly, kind of an underwhelming premise. Best parts are the Anka designs, worst is the idea of Beast being the team's mentor/advisor.
I wonder which classic x-villain has a rival team?
Beast could needs a redemptive opportunity so maybe this book would've have re-endeared him to the readership. Perhaps the continued exposure to these youths would have softened him in all the ways he needed. I really enjoy the idea of directing them back to LA, in the UXF facility and I especially enjoy the visual of Nori, Santo, Cess and Jules working in tandem so fluidly. This notion of their being so in synch with each other and doing hand offs and combos and defense/offense tactics intuitively is really rad.
Would have loved to have Kris drawing this book.
Joe Glass's Pride comic is a guilty pleasure, and this does sound like a great character driven series with my preferred cast
But I do not like the title "Young X-Men". That has always sounded like trying to capitalize on the Young Avengers (I know the YA don't own the adjective "Young" but that's just the perception)
