That seems to be the current angle of the New Mutants title, yes.

I meant Kurt not Exodus.

I still say Exodus would be an interesting “mentor” for the New X-Men and all the difficulties it would cause.

I agree. I wouldnt mind seeing this. I see the New X-Men kids as a more rebellious generation. And Exodus is pretty powerful and smart when written correctly.

I don't think it should. For one, that's WAY too many characters. Another, Brisson can't be trusted with 99% of the kids. And lastly, I don't trust them not to make it "Magik and co are the absolute best and everyone else is just screw up extras!".

I think if they going to have a "Mentor" it should be Dani.

They respect Dani. Plus Dani doesnt' tote the 'X' line...she often does her own thing and tries new paths and ideas. Like when she moved the New Mutants off Utopia.

Just my opinion but it shouldn’t be Dani or anyone that already has focus in other books.

Also we’ve already seen Dani be mentor to the Academy X class. We’ve even seen Jubilee be mentor to a new “Generation X.”
