Another thing NXM fans shouldn’t really complain about. Wolverine, Marvel Girl, Kid Omega, Domino, etc etc all have died multiple times ever since HOXPOX started. From the solicit it seems pretty clear they’re, if not the focus, at least a big part of the issue. It’s been YEARS since Loa’s even said a line in a title so I’m appreciating what we can get.

It is annoying that they keep drawing her paler and paler.

1. Just because a character comes back doesn't mean they'll be back any time soon.
2. Coming back doesn't mean them getting killed off in a crappy way is any better.
3. The New X-men have long since proved they're better than 'students'.

To be fair, Quentin has a bigger role in the current era than alot of background characters that are rarely used

The thing is, he DOES have weaknesses.

For one, he's not particularly bright and we've seen smarter opponents take advantage of that in the past. He can be a bit hot-headed, making it easy to goad him into rash actions, and his physical capabilities are strongly influenced over the types of material available for him to build himself a body from. IIRC depending on ''how'' obliterated he is it can also take him time to put himself back together. Being a psychic entity, I believe he's also vulnerable to concerted psychic attacks.

He's no doubt one of the toughest X-men out there, but he certainly has exploitable flaws. Just the fact that he HAS such an ego over his indestructibility is a weakness that can be taken advantage of.

I agree, other than the fact I want to see it outright addressed just how BAD it was for both characters.
