Yeah, and Krakoa even has a way to satiate Selene and Emplate. Wither would be no problem.

More X-kids huh.... I just don't get it. Why do new mutants get a new book every few years but the New X-Men can't even be shown hanging out together on a single panel? It wouldn't change much tbf. Not when writers are not even familiar with the history of the characters and make them act like complete strangers.


Bad writing aside I used to hope that every time we got new X-kiddies they would be integrated into the current stock of X-babies. Somewhat similar to how the new mutants played a role in the new X-men. I imagined any new X-teen would become apart of the New X-men group/fam. Like I wanted to see Hope to get to know the new x-men on utopia after Second Coming and maybe even become a natural leader among them.


Well that never really happened. We got another X-kid book staring Hope but the main characters were the lights, new characters. Some of the lights grew on me but its such a shame that the majority of the New X-men seen their best days by this time. Jason Aaron's WATXM added even more X-brats to an already huge list of kiddies. And the cycle continues.

It gets so bloated but the worst part is every new batch of X-kids just can't compare to New X-men group imo. The writers/editors don't care for these characters tho. They probably never read new X-men and would prefer to write Quire/Glob/new creation. We reached the point where a character named Hellion couldn't even make it into a book called Hellions... lol. I just want to see them in action and maybe even play an important role of whatever story is being told. Slim chance it will happen, but if it does I'm all for it.

I would also add X23 and Blindfold to the group. Maybe have them running missions based on Blindfold's precog abilities and visions. Might be interesting considering Moira's rule of no precogs...would she be an antagonist for them? Maybe delve into why none are allowed on Krakoa and how if anyone has reason not to trust the Xmen its this group of teens
