I really don't think that was Xavier.
I think Slott is a glorified FanFic writer. Very hit and miss with his ideas and plays favorites with certain characters.

This Franklin thing has actually hoisted FF in a fan and media spotlight. I cant recall a time when more articles were written or something was discussed at length regarding FF. Maybe Secrwt Wars? Vals intelligence boost? Its changed status quo. I'll give it that

Who exactly are these mutants? I don't recall any mutants who can casually create universes.

Not sure if Billy is a mutant. Exodus isn't stronger than Franklin on full power

Surprisingly, the Fantastic Four came out of the pandemic shutdown in better shape that going in. In March, Fantastic Four #20 was #48 in the top #100 and the last chart posted for September has issue #24 ranked #9

Yeah, I use that site too because they make a fairly good estimate of sales but Diamond never confirms them. I think they keep the actual sales confidential and only let the companies see them. Plus we have no data on digital sales from them anyway. Comixology doesn't give that out. They just give a ranked version also.....for example here are the rankings for this week. It does include sales of collected titles in the rankings But I've not found any archive of past release dates there so you have to just grab it as the comics come out. I don't know how many other digital outlets are out there either but they're linked to Amazon so I figure they are probably the largest.

They do have some data on September sales but it looks like a work in progress. there' a long explanation as to how they are coming up with figures. Notice this table has two figures: A low estimate and a high estimate. For Fantastic Four #24, it is ranked 14th with a low est of 75,000 and a high of 90,000. What is odd that issue #23 (there were 2 issues for September) the rank is 73 with a low est. of 26,000 and a high of 31,000, which is about the level of sales back in March. I don't recall if there were a lot of variants for issue #24. And remember, these are sales to the comic shops.

Fantastic Four Anithesis#4 was a awesome conclusion to that limited series.
The art by Neal Adams is way cool.

hopefully there will be another Neal Adams mini series next year. The editors should fast track this.
