This retcon was so stupid. almost as stupid as exonerating Reed Richard from their accident. It's incredible, I was sure I was going to love his run, but almost every release make me roll my eyes.

Valeria visits Arboro's world, and he asks her to be his consort - one of many. She's upset, and leaves. Next, Franklin decides to use the Forever Gate to go to Krakoa, but Professor X contacts him telepathically and tells him he isn't, and never was, a mutant! He reality warped himself to make it seem like he had the X gene. Valeria reveals they can control the destination - so the Future Foundation are brought home! But they're disbanding. Rikki Barnes was from Counter-Earth, which means Franklin created her. They finally meet. Onome, Alex and Julie are picked up by their parents. No mention of Outlawed, though this obviously sets up Power Pack which launches next week. Franklin tells Leech and Artie about Krakoa and shows them to a gate. Sky is angry to discover that Lyja is Johnny's ex-wife. Lyja is angry to see Jo-Venn and N'Kalla. She's shocked when told that Ben had adopted them and the Kree-Skrull War was over and they had merged into an Alliance. With nowhere to go, Bentley and Dragon Man will remain with the FF. Johnny is forced to tell Sky about all of his past lovers. Then she notices that his soul ring is missing - he had it made invisible. She feels insulted. Johnny is distracted by her tirade and misses an alarm. Aliens from worlds Franklin created arrive through the Forever Gate. They're fleeing from Griever!

gotta say, I'm a bit giddy about that revelation. I absolutely love it. I've been pushing for something just like that for years. Franklin is and always should have been 'Cosmic based' Nothing about him OR his power level was ever 'the next evolution step of mankind'...

How did he not feel like a mutant? Not every mutant is living in the sewers or in the X-men. Justice and Firestar, for example. He's also a kid who lives with parents who weaponised their fame and money to protect themselves from persecution because they're not human. Which Xavier did himself with the X-mansion phase.
