Nothing Marvel has done since Phase 3 has been outright awful. At worst it will just be ok. Fingers crossed this will be the movie that restores the First Family to the premier position they deserve. God I hope we get to see an adaption of the Hickman stuff one day, his run was what made me a F4 fan. This news has me pumped up to go read a bunch of old F4 comics, there’s a bunch of great stuff I’ve never read.

I would love to see all of that, especially since the MCU Peter is such a square and if Johnny is the kind, hot head, jokester it would be glorious.

The FF are constantly absorbing cosmic radiation from the atmosphere meaning their powers are still growing and can evolve anytime a writer wants them to, like In last year's FF (2018) #7 Johnny's Nova Blast released literal cosmic energy.

Back in DeFalco's run Hyperstorm stated that Sue has unlimited potential because of her drawing energy from Hyperspace.

Yes, I think this about all of them, especially now more than ever. Johnny can go Nova. Sue is Hyperspace in some respects. Ben is immortal stone. and Reed must have his consciousness in every single cell of his body, in order to do what he does withit. So he has totally bodily cosmic consciousness/control.

It’s unlikely but I kinda hope this film is a period film to preserve the F4’s legacy as one of the first major Marvel comics and teams. After all they did quote the comics crediting them as “Marvel’s First Family.”

And they best not mess up Doom yet again. Tease an end credit scene of him but he needs to be stretched out for the next phase’s big bad. Hope Mole Man or Namor (I’m not up to date with his licensing) as the villain.
