I find it amazing that any fan could think of the two mutants who combined to form Onslaught as the good guys with the FF. Onslaught sent the FF and Avengers to another world with the only way the heroes survived was that Franklin had made that world. We could also look at Cyclops insinuating getting Franklin to the FF in one of the HoX/PoX issues. Obviously Onslaught Island is the best place for Franklin.
As a fan of pretty much the entire Marvel Universe, I’ll never understand the animosity fans have towards fictional characters that have nothing to do with what happens to them, or how they’re written. I’ll always love the Inhumans, the FF, the X-Men, etc., because at one point they were written in a way that I really enjoyed. Pettiness is never cute.
One of the things I love about the Brooks covers is that a woman seems to be the focal point to the two released so far.
This is now my only marvel book
I have been doing a read through of the John Byrne run. I ust read issue #268 and came across something odd. This is the Masque of Doom issue. They just returned from Secret Wars, She-Hulk just joined. Johnny and She-Hulk are talking about Doom's death at the hands of Terrax a few issues earlier. She-Hulk mentions that she is glad that she wasn't on the team yet when they had to deal with a villain like Doom. This is right after Secret Wars, where the main antagonist was Doom, and She-Hulk definitely had to fight against him and his army. Has anyone ever addressed this? Did Byrne not want to spoil the rest of Secret Wars, which was technically on issue #1 at the time?
