Also nice to see the heroes return suits return but I liked the new ones.

I am liking the return to those costumes at least.

Dead is pretty much a meaningless term for cosmic characters. I have no idea who it could be, but with the FF, anyone could be brought in and have a good chance of fitting in. As for Doom, Slott worries me on this as well. The work Hickman, Bendis, and Cantwell have done in building Doom up were hurt by Slott's horrible story. Even in X-Men/FF we had a chance to see a more nuanced Doom, but the mustache twirling evildoer popped out.

As for a "new era", seems like a statement on the lack of fire on Slott's first two years. Issue 646 should have been the "NEW ERA". I suppose it's good Marvel didn't star renumbering again with this issue, but seeing a number 25 probably counted for something. But it's issue 670 to me. Still interested in seeing what this "new era" entails and I'm mildly curious about the new costumes. Outside of that, I'm looking forward to any future issue of FF.

I'm really weary of the constant renumbering. It only makes sense financially because almost anything that's a number one issue sells. Even that doesn't make sense to me except when it is the debut of an entirely new comic or character. IMO keeping the original numbering only enhances a copy that's been around as long as the Fantastic Four or DC's Detective Comics, etc.

Next week we have the conclusion of Zdarsky's X-men/Fantastic Four and I hope he does a better job with ALL the characters this time around. But yes, his Doom was better than Slott's. I don't think Zdarsky did as well with the Fantastic Four & family. I really get annoyed that most of the derogatory stuff is about Sue being a "Karen"

The more I think about this, the more sense it makes. I like Factor's idea as arguing siblings can be a lot like Kree and Skrull combatants. The kids would fit in and Ben and Alicia seem like people who can help the kids to function as part of a family. Dealing with the pair as cousins to Franklin and Val is a very workable family dynamic. Will they fight and often not get along? Sure. But adoption works as story idea here.
