Don't forget that the Avengers were actively trying to kill him when he was possessed, and despite possessing the power to completely warp reality he somehow managed to avoid killing anyone except Xavier.

And more importantly, don't forget that after they defeat him, they do what he wanted to do from the start and give the Phoenix force to Hope who uses it to restore mutantkind.

It was one of the most baffling event endings I've ever read.

The thing is that although it is logical to think that ... he is never accused of that. Just like the Hulk destroys cities and coincidentally almost never kills anyone.

Either the Avengers and X-men were jerks who didn't care about everyone else's death other than Xavier, or Scott didn't really kill anyone else.

It was mainly intended as a joke, but in all seriousness, he needs something of significance. Although it seems like that won't be for a while, in X-Men at least. Maybe I'm wrong.

I am not sure about that I could be missing something but as far as I know we are not to which Grey contributed to Cardinal DNA as Power of X #3 just said he was created from Wagner/Grey/Freeman with no first name so it might not be Rachel it could also be Jean or perhaps another member of the Gray family who in Moira's ninth life might have nothing to do with the summers family.
