It certainly was. Loved X-Men #15. I see the decision he made and understand that one solicit now. Wonderfully done. Last three chapters are hands down my favorites.

During Fraction's run it was popular to call him Ditactorclops on this board and make jokes about the brick that a protestor threw at him in the Utopia crossover. The fact people thought he was unfairly maligned during AvX and the way Gillen supported the "Scott was right" narrative in his tie-ins and later in AvX: Consequences definitely helped his case

Jean had more presence in death than Cyke in Hickman's entire run.
Hickman succeeded where 2010s Marvel didn't: make the X-Men villainous and irrelevant.
Hilariously, the X-Men have now fully embraced mutant supremacy and racism against humans.

Today I screamed "LET'S GO" out loud reading a comic.
Ok, it was in my language, but I screamed.
Scott was excellent in the X of Swords event. X-men 15 and Destruction were both great.
I just remembered Scott will appear in two issues next week (Champions #3 and King in Black #1)
And let's hope for a cameo in Hellions #7
spoilers:end of spoilers
Decided to see what the hype was about and was left disappointed.
It could be just me jumping into the tail-end of an event, but Cyke's big move that will send ripples throughout Krakoa was... to gather X-Men and ask them to actually act like X-Men? There wasn't even some amazing strategy. Just the usual throw-yourselves-at-the-enemy-and-hope-you-win-or-last-long-enough-until-the-deus-ex-machina-arrives.
Council: "Mutants can die for realzies in whateverworldzies."
Cyke: "Duh, but we X-Men. And our species is no longer on the line."
Council: "Oks. But disband afterwards, okay? And Jean, no more council privileges for you, where you're only one vote among however-many-there-are-of-us-and-can-be-overruled-by-the-majority."
Jean: "I'd rather go on adventures with the X-Men, anyways."
Council: -distributes high-fives for another round of nothing accomplished- "We sure told them!"
I was expecting someone to get kicked into the pit :x
Can't believe how low the bar has fallen.

I do think it helped the ending that the middle was so weak
Le Suck it, Dolphin!
-God I am so tired.
SCOTT SUMMERS AND EMMA FROST DESERVED BETTER.
Just finished "X-Men" 15. I fucking love our guy! Cyke was like, "Naw, eff that. We going to get our people!"
This is what I wanted to read! Cyclops always comes through in the clutch and he will always be my favorite
super hero! On to read Excalibur...
I liked the way Cyclops acted, but his plan was little meh. The best part was the Vescorii and Saturnyne had to tell them what to do.
But is way better than anything from the past two or three years on DoX. Now we probably will have to wait a year or so for something cool again.
Hope I'm wrong, Si Spurrier is coming to the x-books, maybe if he could have Cyclops.
I think people make what Scott and Jean did seem so simple. But to me was there really any other choice. The mutants over there were mutants they struggled to find this peace with, the ones who always had there backs when the chips were down and all this Krakoa stuff is great and everything but it's like "We were being heroes and watching each others backs when we were in hell" so like did they really expect Scott and Jean to sit back in "heaven" and relax especially given who was on the mission on other world. This was a lot about their child of course but this was also about potentially losing, Storm, and Logan, and Betsy, and other people forever. That "it just leaves a bad taste in the mouth" was everything.
