Scott Summers: Cyclops Appreciation 2020

For me it feels like to some fans (not all who like the pairings, and this is my obserations too) if Jean ends up with Logan, Scott loses. If Scott keeps Jean, Logan loses. If Scott end up with Emma, Jean loses.

Yep, certain fans are more concerned about "winning" and "losing" that they stop caring about what makes sense for the characters or the narrative or continuity. We see it effect Scott, but it's everywhere.

I know Scott's most attractive trait has always been his mind (telepath catnip) but I figure you don't exert yourself physically at his level without certain physical benefits.

That last image of cyclops in front of them was fire. That was a good run, the only reason i was sad to see the 05 go back was surprisingly because of Teen Scott. He was just so likeable. I love Scott got to retain those connections.

Absolutely gorgeous moment. Letting Scott keep his memories was a good move. Don't miss Tyke on X-Men, but his time with the Champions did wonders for the character.

if Scott does end up bringing them over to Krakoa, even if just temporarily, then it BTFO's the FF issue of having Xavier outright refuse Franklin being allowed, along with several other books that made it sound like they don't allow any non-mutants on the island. heck, this might actually be the first non-X-book that does that instead of the usual "your not mutant so no, you can't be here".

No wonder Wolverine agreed to go on the trip in X-Men #7 only after being tempted by Scott in a speedo.

Once he left Champions he became unreadable, as the X-office wasn't willing to allow him the slightest agency or competence.

I only really care about shiping when it starts to mess up the characterization, stories and when the character becomes just about that. Keep it as an afterthought and I really don't care who is with who.

Even with a rocky(more like terrible) start, Tyke on the CHampions was the best choice. If he left he group like Jeen did and was just a Champion for like 2 years, it woulda been baller.

I wanted a Sam and Tyke space adventure to save Sam's father.
