That's good news. I'm looking forward to it.

I just saw in the solicits that there's going to be three covers. One by Alex Ross, a variant by Tom Reilly, and another, which I didn't know about before, by Mike Mckone. I'm totally going to get that one! Mike Mckone is hands down one of my favorite artists. He's actually THE artist I would pick to head a Cyke mini-series or full series.

I think end of july? (He should be in X-men) But I think we'll have to wait till September for that one shot where the focus is central to him.

X-Men #10 comes out on July 29 but he might show up in Empyre : X-Men #1 and X-Men / Fantastic Four #4 on July 22.

Unfortunately, I think the Outlawed crossover is only resuming early September with Magnificent Ms. Marvel #14. I was really looking forward to the event too. Cyke's cameo was just icing on the cake.

I can't hear Gone Away by the Offspring without thinking of the aftermath of the Dark Phoenix Saga.

For Revolutionary Scott I'd say anything by Rise Against. He'd love the band just for the name alone.

I have read Tyke solo 8 times, x men blue and DOX any with Scott. I when so far as to read his x factor days.

So for me, my favorite songs to associate with Cyclops:

And the Sky Turned Red-Secession Studios (This song makes me think of Astonishing X-Men. That scene on Breakworld starting with "WHAT OTHER LIES HAVE YOU TOLD?!")
When the Seasons Change- Five Finger Death Punch (Had this song stuck in my head for that issue of War of the Realms Champions when Cyke and Kamala team up again, BUT works over and over for him)

I feel like I'm forgetting some....I run a X-Men RPG, and Cyke is a major npc (two players have declared him their surrogate father) so I'm sure I use more for mood music

If something happened to Cyclops, he would just be resurrected.

The real question of what happens is if he quits, because there's no one that can fill the position that has enough respect of everyone, both good and bad guys, to take over as undisputed military commander of Krakoa.
