I like how Scott is characterized as a father here. On the one hand it is "Cable, you don't train enough" but on the other it is obvious that he is scared that his son is going to a duel to the death and wants to take his place.

No one is bringing up the fact that if Cable dies, it could have catastrophic effect on the time stream. He shouldnt be allowed to go into that battle.

Yeah, I like how he treats superhero stuff like it's his "work." Cyclops has lived so much of his life being an X-man, with very little life away from it. For him this is like office work.

PD: He at least knows fencing thanks to the classes his father gave him in the Tyke series.
