To be honest at the beginning I hated Super hero squad, I thought that the art was lazy, the characters were dumb and the situations too convenient, but similar of what I feel for other shows like adventure time, Steven universe, and Tangled the series, once I start seeing the show avoiding what I was expecting and trying to understand what the show really was I found myself very satisfied and like the previous examples the show started to grow on me being quite funny at times, still never played the game.

I think that is pretty clear that I'm not using the world as slur, you also have to understand that not every country has the same problems regarding racism. The world is a literal traduction of what I mean (and I wasn't being derogative in any sense) on my language (like literally the first result on google traductor). On my country the (have to admit) very few people I know of that ethnicity, use it to refer themselves, so I don't see the need to censure like I were saying poop.

From what I heard at the time the financial mismanagement occurred when they gained new leadership towards the end, not to mention that the final CEO would also turn out to be a sexual predator who ousted the former CEO so that's not a great start. From what's known people left and as it was getting harder and harder to make content they'd also wasted resources on the ill-fated console port of the game. The game's port basically making not nearly enough that investors felt comfortable.

    This is where things get rocky as either scenario is possible but;
    1. Disney pulled Marvel Heroes away from Dave Dohrmann (the CEO) for wasting their resources (which was losing money and had a failed console port). Dave Dohrmann would proceed to then abruptly fire everyone as Marvel Heroes went under.

    2. Being more likely is that Disney and Marvel simply weren't meeting ends meet on the agreement thanks to the mismanagement and harassment and Dave not only didn't have the money to pay people but fired those he could.

Either way Disney and Marvel aren't at fault on this as they're the ones who simply provide the material the devs would make content out of. But with nobody to make content and floundering investors the game regardless died. Ole Dave these days seems to be head or at least working at something called Playchemy. I say something because I'm not sure what ti is they do as the website is just a logo at least on my end. From Twitter it seems they make nothing but facebook games now but I can't be sure as the site wont work.

Dave Dohrmann had problems going way back. And was a part of the company from within for a while. Was a financial investor and board member before being CEO and was kept there because he was the purse. Disney pulled the plug because the license was two years behind, and the new agreement they signed was under the terms that the console port would be successful and they'd be able to pay back. They weren't able to do that.

Disney/Marvel isn't at fault, except maybe their license being very pricey. Gaz was a company in trouble until David Brevik came in and cleaned things up a bit. But then after he left, things went back to hell again. The company just never had a chance of staying a float. It needed more than one person working things in that direction. And the board was much of the problem from the beginning.

Dohrmann didn't fire anyone, there were financial layoffs though. A lot of people left because Brevik left. Others got better paying opportunities elsewhere.

    Coming Attraction:

    Doctor Doom #9

    CHRISTOPHER CANTWELL (W)
    SALVADOR LARROCA (A/C)

After growing the Latverian empire through bloodshed, Doom turns his attention to the potential apocalypse that is the black hole in Earth’s orbit, as he’s the only brilliant scientific mind left that has any chance of preventing catastrophe. But in the wake of all he’s been through, Victor grapples with a profound change of heart...one he dare not show his enemies, else they see his weakness as opportunity!

The first thing I notice is that this cover has Victor's face back but that may mean absolutely nothing. It could signify that the Victor we've seen in his visions may be taking over in some respects. Plus, I like it when they remember to color his eyes brown

Well judging by the preview he is going to be successful in his quick war against Symkaria and will even add the territory to his reign, I never doubt it anyway but still I want to know how this is going to sit to Silver Sable since she is not a woman who would take an invasion quietly and I can see her building a revolution.

I think that the face can be about his internal fight to stay the man (the mask) he is nowadays and the wish to change and become the man he has seen in his visions, a happy, loved and fulfilled man (the heale face). But of course he being Doom would perceive that need of being loved and accepted as weakness.

I wonder if we are going to see more about Fucsina, Victor seemed pretty hurt when she rejected him but still is wanting to get that happy future.

In good news, I got my God Emperor Doom Pop!

In not so good but maybe not bad ... yet ... file this under "too close for comfort" ... On the very same day I was wandering around Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, so was at least one person who a week later tested positive for Covid19 virus, and who then died of the disease on March 19. In the really not close but could have been, the same man also flew back to the west coast (LA) on the same day I did. Sadly he was a young man in his 40's I think. Fortunately I flew to San Diego (from Tampa via Atlanta) and he flew from Orlando to LA.

I'm not sick (again, yet) but I'm pragmatic about it. Chances are I was exposed (because chances are many people were exposed either that day, prior or after) and we just don't know it yet. Two to three weeks lag time at best to remain asymptomatic. (It is very weird to look at the calendar and think about this kind of thing). Time will tell, but this is going to get worse, before it gets worse.

    stay safe out there people.

I hope we haven't seen the last of her. But then I was hoping that about Amara too.

I think we need to see more about what exactly Silver Sable's role is in all of this. She was one of Doom's escorts when he was arrested so she wasn't around when Symkaria made their move I would guess. We still don't know who that person in the shadows was from the 1st or 2nd issue.

And you are right about there being an internal struggle about those visions. I still can't figure out what the source is....a telepath with sinister purposes perhaps?

Wow, congratulations for getting that adorable little powerful emperor.

Not so congratulations about your probabilities of being exposed, I hope you have the opportunity of stay in home for the next two weeks to avoid hypothetical germs. Remember wash your hand at every chance, eat healthy to help your immune system and do some exercise indoors.

Well I think the Amara case is more difficult since Bendis don't seems interested in taking the character again and no other writer has mentioned her, and that's sad.

But considering that Fucsina is part of the current run and we still don't know why Taskmaster has a murder order with her name as code I think that we could still see some more of her, also there is the point that Victor wants that happy future and in that happy future she is his wife, so just because he was rejected once doesn't mean he will give up. Maybe he gives other try.

Silver Sable sound very honest when she said that she knows nothing about the plan to manipulate Latveria and I believe her, after all she was the one interested in finding Victor in first place instead of just fight against Victorious and take Latveria by force. But now that her Country is the invaded one I think she will fight back.

The source of the visions, well I can't be sure, could also be Mephisto playing with his mind for kicks, or Maybe Morgana or even Krang and I know that the probability is low but I wish Kristoff were the source since that will give him a participation in the issue. Has been mentioned that he will appear here, but since every time that Victor has been questioned about his family he keeps talking about his future sons and not even once has been Kristof hinted, I start to believe that was a false flag and this will be other run who pretend he doesn't exist.

We also have to know what happens with the mission Lady death has for Doom since also seems important and I think it could be related to the black hole blowing the earth.

It's a big park, so I'm hoping you don't get sick, even if you have to self-quarantine. Take care of yourself!
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

    Wonderful panels! Victor is perfect!

Sadly I don't know when I will be able to get my new comics again as everything is closed here. This confinement should probably convince me to subscribe to Marvel Unlimited...I due leave home only three times to get food since ten days.

More importantly I hope that all of you are ok. I'm thinking about DoomScribe of course, but not only.

Stay safe, at home if you can, and always be careful! Take care of yourself!

Hello there Abe. So nice to hear from you and that you are safe at home. Today was the last day my comic shop was open because after midnight, non-essential businesses have to close. They were thinking of curb service tomorrow but instead they let customers know on their Facebook page to come in today if you pre-ordered stuff. I went and pre-ordered the next issue of Doctor Doom last week too.

I think I may open a seperate review with spoilers thread later if it is OK with the mods.

At this point I don't even know if the next issue of Doctor Doom will even be published. I'm not even in America and yet as a reader I'm still in no better position. My LCS is open for now but if Marvel isn't printing new books and nobody is distributing they might as well close. Plus, even as I get most of my comics digitally I can't be certain Marvel will release digital versions under the circumstances, for fear of setting a precedent. The silence from Marvel only causes further uncertainty.
