That would be a great ending, if they ever did some of those The End one shots again. IIRC the one Doom was in was pretty bizarre. He was featured in Fantastic Four The End and he wound up ruling the Negative Zone. I know he acquired multiple limbs somehow but I'd have to go back and read that. * just glanced at it * The story is that Doom had some horrific injuries from the Mutant Wars (no details on that) and once again, was more machine than human. For most of the series, he and the children are presumed dead. At the end we see them return, except for Doom who we see at the end in front of the cheers of the crowd and holding the head of Annihilus.
I'd have to go look up more of Morgan's appearances over the years but I think that is correct so far. She's only been romantically linked to Doom. They have a little domestic thing going on now in Cantwell's series and I like that they are acting like a couple that have become a bit comfortable with each other. Doom has this history of the quasi - domestic relationships. He gave Wanda a safe place when she was just left to wander Europe in a state of amnesia. Say what you will, she achieved a kind of serenity from the chaos and madness that was House of M and it's aftermath. Unwittingly perhaps. Doom provided a way back from those dark days. I think she legit fell in love out of gratitude but it probably wouldn't have lasted anyway. She had no animosity about it in Heinberg's story but other writers had her turn angry about it. Part of that was because of Axis but I think that anger towards him has become the norm for her. Too bad....I was hoping she would at least be grateful that he kept her from any harm while she was in an amnestic state
