Owen Joyner, he's on a Netflix teen show called Julie and the Phantoms, he plays a gay character, and he totally looks just like McKelvie's Teddy, and he's also 20 so right on the mark in age.

The way I thought about this same fancast when I learned the actor played a gay character recently.... We gays really share the same braincell.

That hair is atrocious. I'll be pissed if they give either of the boys a super-awful haircut like that when they finally get into live-action.

I literally spent the entirety of Julie and the Phantoms thinking his hair is hideous when he didn't have his hat on it's a universal dislike it seems lol.

This is probably tangential related at best, but I read through the AIPT X men Monday thing to see if there was anything related to Al and the Brand team teased at the end of Aftermath, but I didn't see anything of note regarding that or if Teddy's involved. Just wanted to let y'all know in case you were curious!

True enough, although even then its not quite the same. It looked fine on Dawson, but here it looks...like its something sitting ON his head, rather than actually being a part of him. There's just something odd about the shape.

That said, it doesn't have to be a problem. Of all aspects of an actor's appearance, hair is among the easiest to change. He's got a different hair style in the first of the 3 pictures Wiccan provided.

So, haircut aside, I think Wiccan found a good candidate here!

The news just broke that Jonathan Majors has been cast in the next Ant-Man movie and allegedly he's playing Kang. This supports the rumours that the third Ant-Man movie is going to set up the Young Avengers for their own movie.

Well now that's rich considering that ~spoiler alert~: This show is about ghosts who died 25 years ago.

And his character arguably has a bit of a Teddy vibe? Like he's a perfectly nice and sweet lowkey himbo guy who's usually the most reasonable amongst his friends.
