Well technically it IS altered a bit :P no mention of the one adult they can still trust, maybe it had to be changed?
I didn't even notice the solicit had been completely rewritten, I wonder if Eve Ewing had to rewrite the issue?

Only 2 issues were finished when the book was put on hold, so it is possible issues 3-5 were rewritten.
The most popular speculation was that the adult was likely Cyclops, specially since you can see what looks to be his visor shooting a blast on the cover (just below Miles and Kamala). I guess they might've had to reduce or remove his role in the book depending on what happens in X Of Swords.
