Soule already said nothing was wrong with sales but they wanted to change direction obviously for Superdad and synergy with DCEU. But none of that met expectations, ended up directionless and so messy with not knowing what’s what with “mattering”. Also, cherry picking stuff, revisionist, setting limitations with putting all their eggs in one basket. Funny how SMWW was claimed to be detrimental to both characters, a failure, not selling but them separated forced in their own little corner for they expected to sale and was supposedly to rejuvenate the line did the total opposite and practically much worse 🙃

If there was something wrong with the SM/WW sales, DC should cancel all its books except BM. lol It was doing better than the Trinity book that replace it, Supersons or the current BM/SM series. Even after it got derailed and sales went down, it was still doing better than those.

Well, at least they got SM in synch with his inexistent movies franchise and Snyder's aborted plans. lmao

If there was something wrong with the SM/WW sales, DC should cancel all its books except BM. lol It was doing better than the Trinity book that replace it, Supersons or the current BM/SM series. Even after it got derailed and sales went down, it was still doing better than those.

That makes everything just so much worse with how it’s all been handled.
It comes down to the matter of preferences and biasness. SMWW sold better but it’s not what was wanted in terms of it being Clark and Diana... however, they will use the concept/dynamic for different characters.

It shows that there are companies that request SM & WW as a pair after getting the licence from WB/DC.

And I'm not even counting the custom merchants.
