Yes!!!! SMWW are unstoppable, virtually invincible and complement each other in a way that looks like the perfect mathematical equation!
https://www.cbr.com/dc-comics-most-powerful-couples/
"If any couple could be considered more powerful than Green Lantern and Star Sapphire, it would be Superman and Wonder Woman. Throughout DC’s New 52 era of comics, Clark and Diana were known as the “Power Couple,” given that they are two incredibly powerful beings who were then romantically involved.
For several years now, this era in Superman’s history has been altered, practically erasing the couple from existence, though fans still remember this time period. Furthermore, many readers weren’t quite fans of the duo, as many preferred Lois Lane, or claimed that pairing the two felt rather forced. Regardless of one’s own thoughts, having Superman and Wonder Woman together easily made for a couple that would be virtually unstoppable."

That’s what I mean. SMWW has proven to exceed expectations and guarantee success. But it’s still not given too much of an open chance and was purposely cut regardless because it’s not preferred with the admitted mindset of sticking with “old school.” Also admitting to using Diana as a mouthpiece just for fans to accept the abrupt change. That was totally unfair and unprofessional. Ironically, there was still questions of why the change, confusion as well as the performance of the movies afterwards weren’t good as intended and more dwindled investment.
It would be different if there was a drastic change of better, showing a difference in sales, fan investment...etc., but that didn’t occur at all.
Yes. Let it be made clear, Superman and Wonder Woman made “Power Couple” and “Ultimate Power Couple” titles the trend. I don’t think that has ever been emphasized on before SMWW. It’s not just about “power” in a physical sense, though. It’s about connection, resonating and representation that makes these two together stand out.
The false narrative again... sure, not everybody is going to like it, but SMWW proved that it literally outsell the negative. They are never “forced” given their years of teases, evolving of their relationship that’s even documented in the collections book. What’s “forced” is having the characters stagnant in the same status quo and when trying to move forward, constantly ends up back pedaling.
All of this, especially the bold parts. They are literally and figuratively the definition of Ultimate Power Couple. That's not a throw away phrase on them. With their ideals, their strength, their vision, the way the complement each other, enhance aspects of the other. Theirs is a relationship of honesty, vulnerability, and open communication. It's what has made them compelling as best friends and lovers. And the best thing about it is that they better each other and they do not drag the other down.
They are the Ultimate Power Couple, because without a doubt they are capable and formidable on their own, but together they are neigh invincible. In strength, in drive, in focus, and in objective. Once they come together to accomplish anything, they are unstoppable. It is why those who misunderstand them fear them being together, because together it is known that they are an amazing and unbreakable force. Without a doubt we all know who the true Power Couple is. It's been shown and stated throughout the years in different ways. Superman and Wonder Woman always. No pandering, no false claims.

They finally got their kiss!! 😘😍😍😍
Adorable!
Right?! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Gotta love and respect the resiliency of the Superman and Wonder Woman fandom. Despite the outright pettiness, disrespect, false narrative, agenda driven propaganda and hyperbole, and gaslighting attempts made against the pair, the fandom is still here.
It is a reminder of not just the strength of the pairing but of its supporters. The fandom has been in existence for a long time, and will continue to be here. We may not be as loud, nor go about making threats or hyperbolic statements as others are wont to do, because some of us believe in decency, but here we certainly are. And the fandom continues to show its love for the pairing through content creation and through other forms of creativity, which is amazing to see.

Another article mentioning SM/WW? How they can come up with new ideas every week? 🤣
IMO, the only real chance SM/WW got to prove its success on its own was the joint series from 2014/2016. It outsold the Trinity book that was supposed to replace it and without coming right after a boosting sales line wide relaunch like Trinity. Sales were also slight better than the current BM/SM book and its cardstock variants. An analogue "shipper" book like Jurgens' L&C series was a flop selling in the 10k range.
Wish SM/WW got a similar chance on animation. Even just for the sake of having a real comparison with the almost flop of RoS and WW: Bloodline (both are their low selling movies).
Right, lol. 😂

ALMOST?????
HAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHA you are truly a gentleman ... when I grow up I want to have your class!
LOL. 🤣
I don't really know how much it costs to produce these animated films to define how much of their low selling ones flopped or just underperformed.
It looks bad for WW though: https://the-numbers.com/movie/Wonder-Woman-Bloodlines Lower sales will give an excuse to sideline the character, I fear. SM will have a chance soon with MoT instead. DoS doesn't really count for its gimmick-y nature.
Still I wanted at least an adaptation of Soule's first SM/WW arc as its animated movie. It wasn't fair to not give SM/WW a real chance to prove itself on animation.
Yes... but I would really like an animation outside the standards used by DC ... square face, rough movements ... it looks like a job done on the thighs .... I would really like SMWW to have their own pattern. It is not so difficult to reproduce Tony's art or even Lee's (of course you need talented people and not the one who thinks that can draw because grew up listening to the half-blind grandma's praising him). And above all Soule needs to coordinate or even write the script. SMWW writers need complete freedom! You must tell them: do you know sky? It doesn't limit you! Do you know the universe? It doesn't limit you! Your imagination limits you and that's it. Take Disney for example! Invest in a soundtrack! Invite a friendly artist to the couple to make the theme song! The public is here! The money is here! Just need courage and vision!
