The bold part: It may be that I'm being radical here but the problem is not the dynamics between man and woman but between SM and WW ... the natural way for both is to become a couple, they complement each other too much! It is like warm bread and butter, you think about one the other immediately comes to mind automatically. Since DC doesn't want the chemistry to show up, for people to think about them, the company keeps Clark and Diana at bay while offering stale bread and margarine as substitutes.

It still makes no sense and such double standard. There are other super couplings that don’t have much of a problem like SM and WW. Last Son has pointed out, there is no excuse with being different franchises. They are under the same umbrella anyway. That’s what makes their dynamic even more unique and interesting to explore because of how you can seamlessly blend them together. It’s to a point the rip off straight up are given the exact description of the real deal or actually says so like Jupiter Legacy show promo. They are marketed/branded outside of comics as a couple, they have solid history given even a collectibles book together. It works in story, it works with branding and marketing, what else is there to be?

A shame those in charge of DC stubbornly refuse to acknowledge what everyone outside the Comic Book Buble (made up of insiders and many diehard fans) already know.

Charles Soule still has ideas and has said he wants to write them again.

Recent update to the following of the smww main IG is 47.3k...despite the stall IG had with elections, seems it still right on track with 50k following within first qt of 2021. For just a “shipping” page, it has the biggest following and we see the continuing diversity. Diversity, globalization, getting new stable fans is what DC wants, yet when the idea is right in their face, they are quick to ignore or turn a blind eye to it.

Give Soule a BL maxiseries set in Earth-52 or whatever to finish his original story.

DC is looking at “Superman”/“Wonder Woman” by title not by character. They wouldn’t do this to Batman/Superman cuz bros. But a dynamic between a man and woman that goes beyond the normal troupes is too different/difficult to understand and would rather dilute it to something superficial.

They wouldn't do that to Batman/Superman just to shove BM even into SM books, lol. Their friendship was dead after the 80s.

I agree on the rest though.

SMWW works very well for a large majority but DC refuses to see it or at least admit it ... and it seems to me that now they have denied that view for good! I read an article in Bleeding Cool that in their Future State there will be no romance between members of the Justice League, so the door to romance between SM and WW, Mera and Arthur or BM and WW (meh) are ruled out. Yes, Future State is about this Earth that I do not like at all but since this is mandatory it may be reflected in other Earths... maybe SMWW is summed up even to the romances and couples that we already know. From now on we must concentrate efforts on the Earths where they are already together.

What’s the point of a shared/multi verse if there are constant limitations set?
