You've got to love it.

DC can try to bury the lead all they want after the fact but we, and all those who responded so enthusiastically to DC's "mistake", know who the true Power Couple of Comic Books is and shall always be

Sometimes I wish those in the Comic Book industry weren't so set in their ways. Another thing, they listen primarily to hardcore fans who want nothing to change or evolve (Nightwing would still be Robin, and there would be no Miles Morales or even Venom if they had their way). This attitude isn't how you grow your brand whatever that brand is. You can only tell the same tired old stories so many times.

That's why this segment, comics, is shrinking and suffering casualties and will suffer changes ... comics are dying for refusing to expand their horizons, DC is in this mess and is starving having a banquet (multiverse) in front of them.

The "I know better and you should like what I tell you to like or you aren't a real fans" kind of attitude from some professionals is wrong on so many levels. It has the opposite effect and make people hating more what they are trying to force.

Granted, and during said period we were treated to some of the arguably best and most memorable Superman stories ever. It was a great time to be a Sups fan, IMO.

That's only in Azz version as fas as I remember. 🤔

Im tossed with which I prefer but I think Diana is still the special miracle of the Amazons, however, having Amazons her age like Azz run did bring interesting aspects and made it very much real of Diana still experiencing what other children have even the bullying gave more depth.

They know but they don't seem wanting yet to do much about it and dance around the issue instead. Look at Clark, he'll be soon replaced by a young Superman and WB is considering Elseworlds versions in his place. 😂

They had young Superman with new52 which gave the character a much bigger and needed boost. It wasn’t perfect but the ideas were there. What was needed was creative teams to really stick with it and communicate. Superman/Kal-El/Clark needs a major push forward into modern world of storytelling. Drop the staggering troupes and embrace all aspects of the character that makes him unique and especially emphasize the “alien” aspect because that is much more relatable and interesting to the general audience.

A SuperWonder Eradicator? 😂 That would be an interesting new villain for both Superman and Wonder Woman. 🙃

Why had this not be thought of before? Yes, we have SMWW children but a hybrid that can be redeemed like WonderStar was thought to be would be a very interesting new angle.

This goes against everything that SM and WW represents, it is an anti-democratic attitude, a prejudiced attitude, an attitude of disrespect towards the fan and the reader. DC is completely lost!

Stories were really good till The Fall of Metropolis storyline, imo. Also the major changes of that era, while refreshing for that time, turned to be limiting later on.

Even with better communication and stable creative teams, the end result would've been the same as soon as some old school creators would take advantage of their 5 mins of powers to screw up that new version of the character. There were "personal" reasons behind what happened.

Isn't it the 4th or 5th accounts that acknowledge SM/WW over the past weeks? They should start to acknowledge SM/WW in-story (again) next.
