Wow, amazing stuff.

It goes to further show how much in a bubble DC and WB's current creators and higher ups live in while the real world people just gets on with it superman and wonder woman's love inspiring them. There is a huge disconnect with the content put out and what goes on in real life, much like everything else, I guess. It's common for detractors on blogs, messageboards and even comic sites to claim no one liked smww yet we see tons of content with them and lots of love for them.

Not to say that the superman wonder woman relationship didn't work outside of editorial interference but again it shows that the dynamic can work. But I guess it will show once Astro city comes to TV screens it will be another chance to show that the relationship can be interesting.

Maybe in the future if Henry cavill can come back we could see this since there might be renewed interest. I heard that he may sign on for guest appearances, maybe he could drop by the 3rd wonder woman film?

Article 1: SMWW rip offs work better because as Last Son has said, no baggage. However, that “baggage” desperately needs to be dropped because it’s totally unnecessary and not doing any good for either character individually. It’s sad DC has the original genuine concept and won’t capitalize on it but other’s see the potential and jumping on it fast.

Article 2: Live Action SMWW would look damn good. Moonlit scene would be incredible.

It’s odd and surprising (but not) how these two didn’t have interaction in DCEU, yet paired so much in toy photography showing the wasted potential.

Patty Jenkins expressed more than once her interest to work also with the SM character as well as talking A LOT about SM and WW's parallels during interviews. 🙃

About WW3... we'll see.

Sense Cavill’s Supes is going to be team-up man, the obvious choice would be a team up with Wonder Woman and Patty would be great to direct because she knows the dynamic/connection.

DC continues to profit from powercouple merchandising ... hmpf ... what else do they need to bring them back?

Are they popular? Yes.

Do they sell books? Yes.

Do they have an audience for cartoons and animations? Yes.

Do they sell different products? Yes.

Do they help with DC visibility? Yes.

Hmpf is being too blind not to see that!

WB's current creators and higher ups are too focused on characters like Batman or Harley to really recognize the potential elsewhere. The struggle for SM and WW is as individual characters first and it extends to their partnership/relationship as result.

I like also the depiction of the SM/WW rip-offs' relationship in the Squadron Supreme series from the middle 80s.

Me too actually, I think it was something of an origin of the idea of kingdom come to be honest, and I'm looking forward to their new book in a incoming crossover.

Hopefully, she's done so well with wonder woman and considering where superman is at the moment in time I thinks it's needed. Maybe WW3 or maybe one giant crossover

Wasn’t there an older bedding set from the 70s/80s?
Either way, SMWW shows it’s marketable hitting different bases especially the HIS/HER merch. Combine the logos to exemplify the “Power Couple” meaning and comic images are just so beautiful, romantic and truly stand out. Deodato’s image was for a wedding and has taken off on its own as if it was an official image. LOL

Also... speaking of bedding... this is perfect with matching SMWW pajamas...heh...
