Henry Cavill is set to make a series of cameo/supporting appearances in the DCEU moving forward (assuming talks with Warner Bros. work out), so he could very easily show up in Wonder Woman 3.
In the pages of Justice League, Wonder Woman and Superman realised just how similar they are, leading to the two embarking on a relationship with each other. At the time, DC Comics teased that this would have some serious repercussions moving forward, and Batman was far from happy about the world’s two most powerful superheroes being so closely aligned.
As he recently warned them, "They’re going to be gunning for you." When Superman asks who he’s referring to, the Caped Crusader simply states: "Whoever’s afraid of what you two could do."

A few years ago, DC Comics decided to have Superman and Wonder Woman explore a romantic relationship.
In the comic books, the fear that these two beings will one day turn on humanity is a very real issue, and this could be the perfect team-up for Patty Jenkins' planned Wonder Woman 3.

OMG, that's a huuuge collection.

Instead of wasting and ruining a potentially good storyline, should’ve just left SMWW alone, ending with Soule run. Although it obviously wasn’t intended to end, and still would’ve been forced, should’ve ended with that than the messy embarrassing forced “end” we got.

If it was an out of continuity book, it would be easier ending it after a few arcs.

Clark and Diana should be travelers and work that way. Diana a Diplomat/Ambassador , Clark a freelance writer having his own blog or whatever both dealing and talking about real world issues as they should plus heroic duties. That would be far more progressive and makes sense for both in modern day.

Diana is already a traveller/nomad. She changes city every new run. 😂

I was talking to a friend yesterday about this, about SM and WW being apart ... it seems that they get lost when they are far away, when they have no contact as it happens today. In a way, I feel that one is the measure of the other, the mirror, so to speak. Whether as best friends or as, given the most certain and natural step, lovers, they are guided. My friend says that Trinity plays this role, that the separation of the three is what makes the characters get lost and then we disagree .... Batman's forced friendship (at least in my opinion) with Superman does not add nothing to him. As a human Batman is extraordinary, a focused being, a John Wick with cape (controversial here) but which adds nothing to Superman, in fact it is more of an instrument of control and limitation of him while Diana is of liberation.

I kind of agree with you on that. Despite SM and BM were best pals during pre-Crisis, their friendship became strained and one-sided later. SM is reduced to being BM's bright mirror opposite in the best case, to not count the one-sided appearances/relevance on each others franchise.

The Trinity concept originated from Kingdom Come, and brought into the main canon starting with WW #140/141 in the late 90s:

But it turned into an empty concept now, without any resemblance of the original dynamic. The SM/WW's close friendship was diluted by it and certain writers used it to shift dynamics neutering SM/WW's connection.

Doesn’t make any sense why it hasn’t. It’s a dynamic that obviously has audience interest.
We are seeing rip offs getting what the real deal should’ve had. That’s a major problem.

SMWW can have the dedicated fanbase they need for support, both individually and as a couple if DC can move forward with the changes needed.

I don’t understand trying to force change dynamics to a point of causing it to be so empty. Wasn’t it twice trying a trinity book and both times it fell flat? Instead of fighting against dynamics that work, respect it. Obviously smww is a dynamic that keeps things balanced.

SMWW works both ways, to be honest. However, continuity is a headache and writers tend to want to play safe and be lazy. Would rather it be out of continuity not only for more creativity, less restrictions, but out of continuity books tend to be the ones more profound, actually complete and stand out.
