Smww sells merch. Fans whether they have picked up a comic/watched a movie or not still gravitate to smww. As we see with the many couples and families, smww has a positive influence, especially for diversity. They understand and relate to smww, what it represents....but yet....DC doesn’t give a proper chance or respect it for what it is/can be. The way it’s forced of smww not liked, a mistake/failure, not traditional etc but everything else says otherwise. That’s the surprising thing about it.
