You would think John would have a roll by now considering he was part of Snyder's main team. Still early but I'm not holding my breath.

He just got his role, he’s going for Perpetua’s source of power located on other planets in the multiverse. It’s playing out in Multiverses end next month.

"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
Your comment gives me a thought, which leads to a question:
-- If John were given a title teamed with another hero the way Hal had a legendary run with Green Arrow, who would you choose as an interesting counterpoint to John, in terms of powers and personality? What would be the log line of that title? (i.e. for "Hard Traveling Heroes" it was, "A progressive hero of the people and an authoritarian space cop hit the road to explore the ills of America" or something...)
i wish someone came to mind, but I will give it a thought...
Here's a page that actually shows John:

Cool! Based off of that screenshot, it does look like John is going to play a good role here. If I'm not mistaken, John is going to have a variant cover by Artgem on next month, which is the comic issue he's leading in. It looks like this is the biggest role he's ever done in a big event, since he's never really have any roles in big events. This is a good history for the character.
Capullo draws a handsome John.
Looks like John Stewart has FINALLY got his own avatar over at DC Comics' website. A couple of years back, I've been complaining about this numerous of times, because I felt that the character always deserved having his own avatar, since he's quite a popular character and that he was part of the main Justice Leauge title being written by one of DC's top writers. You always had to see the Hal Jordan or Green Lantern Corps avatar on who's appearing in the Justice League title. I'm glad this is no longer the case. This is good progress for John.
If anyone goes to DC Comics.com, you'll see him on the front page on the right panel. There's a who's who article about him there that you guys can read.
