    Love Elongated Man.

He was such a huge part of my childhood because my favorite comic was Justice League of America. His friendships with Barry Allen and Carter Hall were special. And of course, is amazing relationship with wife, Sue, made them an incredible pair.

He stayed with the League through Detroit and then joined Justice League Europe, where he stayed on Wally's case in a hilarious way.

Then, seeing him as a part of Opal City in Starman was a cherry on the sundae.

Unfortunately, then came Identity Crisis and his world came crashing down.

I do not know much about Elongated Man. Can he get thin like paper? How far can he stretch? Does he have above normal human strength?

His powers are basically like Reed Richards and Kamala Khan right? He can't do as much as Plastic Man though.

My two favorite things about EM:
    • His Nick-and-Nora schtick with Sue
    • The way that, more than any other JL member, he always seemed to be having fun without being goofy

The ELONGATED MAN's first appearance in 1960.

I liked his Bronze Age outfit -- the red, black and yellow combo. Don't know where it debuted, but he had it for all of his satellite era JLA appearances.

Sue gave it to him for his birthday. So I Googled that. Looks like 'Tec 350 in 1966. Unless I mixed it up with another costume.

They even have their origins paired together. And they're not happy about it .
