Can't put into words how excited I am for John to get some shine. Binge watching the hell out of the JL animated series right now.

For those that wonder why folks are saying John is over due.
From the Green Lantern writer thread
Last appeared in issue 41 (a promise for him to be in issue 49 did not happen) excluding a flashback pic in 55 of the 90s GL run. John Stewart did NOT appear in that book until issue 70. Almost 30 issues later. From 102-179 support cast.
In the Kyle era he was only in that book 46 times. Plus 14 early ones-60 appearances. Not even HALF the run.
John with his own book 78 + Darkstars 17 appearances. 95. 21 as a lead/co-lead.
Those 21 issues are NOT in trade.
John and Guy are PAST due.
I love 70s/80s John so much. Definitely my favorite version of him!
Did any of you guys read this? It's the first time I'm seeing it.
Yes I actually have that.
And as usual John gets disrespected.
The new and first story was about JOHN. Yet where is he standing? Hal was a reprint story and Guy (I don't think was in it).
Hal and Kyle got covers to themselves. Since they had new stories. John did not.
I'm not allowed to say anything but other people are, apparently. At 19:06 you may find something of interest.
