It was voluntary. In fact, Apocalypse helped him with a wound that was killing him and silenced the voices that tormented him.

Don't play mobile games at all, but Apocalypse looks cool. Nice voice, but I wish it was modified sound a bit more robotic like his voice in X-men vs Street Fighter. A combo of the two would be perfect.

I like how Archangel is flying in the background and his Champion is Storm. Would of been cool to see the OG horseman chilling in the background.

It would be real cool if after X of Swords Excalibur disbands and/or Apocalypse leaves the gang and goes to chill with the Externals. (The members of Excalibur hate him anyway)



I can see him and Selene getting a bit close. Maybe Selene makes a power-play and ask Apocalypse to advocate putting her on the council since Kitty is apparently dead atm.

With the Externals, his Horseman, plus all of the children of his Horseman some members of the council may start looking at this dude funny. They never trusted him to begin with. A shady guy like Sinister might take look to take advantage of this mistrust somehow. In reality Apocalypse wants to continue crossing stuff off on his bucket list. He has his horseman and now he wants a strong body that will never fail him. No more body hopping.



I have an idea in my head of how it would play out. Basically he would go through this whole process to get a perfect body. He would do fucked up stuff like using ancient magic that requires a ton of sacrifices, forced body transfers, etc, but he will fail. Again. The council gets sick of him and attempts to pass judgement on him. He resists and flees to his pyramid. A small group of followers goes with him. (Somehow Sinister played a role in sparking this division between Apocalypse and the council. )

At his pyramid he rages. Ozymandias tries to speak to him but Apocalypse punches him. Shattering his stone body, (that guy suks, lol). In a dark corner of his pyramid a figure speaks to him. "The fault lies not in celestial technology, but your primitive understanding of it. In my past you mastered their powers but died before you were able to put it to use." Moira walks out of the shadows and reveals herself to Apocalypse. After that the issue would end.

Basically Moira once again turns to Apocalypse after Xavier and Mags sideline her. Apocalypse makes his own moves independent of Krakoa. Through Selene and some of his followers he his able to keep tabs on them. The next event would be Apocalypse putting his new body to use. He goes back to his old ways and declares war on humanity. In return Krakoa declares war on Pyramid X. Someway, somehow this is all apart of Moira's plan.

I reaaaly don't want a return to old apocalypse, it just doesnt work compared to his current incarnation and use as an older and strange paternal figure for all mutants, him showing up in the council and other events have just been highlights of a character that really hasnt been interesting in a long time.
also I feel the things we have been shown, while i belive his methods might create conflict, I don't see his intentions being to harm mutants or krakoa, x-men 2 showed us an intimate moment betwen the summoner and apocalypse/war, he also talked about the events of arrako to push the team to move forward.
Is he going to do it in a nice way? absolutly not, but I really don't want a repeat of evil horsemen and return to a shallow apocalypse, and I don't think that's what we are being prepared for, war and the summoner had too much humanity in their talk, same with him and A, he is presented as a main figure in a heroic sense.

Yea, its nice too see him being a dad to mutants and all. Its better than where he was b4 which was MIA for the most part. Sooner or later he will revert to being a normal villain tho.

He didn't drop the philosophy, the X-men adopted his with Krakoa. That's why he's proud to them. Hickman gave him more depth but he's still the same man he was, he still barely grasps that other beings are people to respect.

Old Apocalypse hasnt worked since the end of the original X-Factor run with the O5. The DoX version has finally made him work in present day 616, something many writers have failed to do in the past 30 years
