I was flipping through the Thor:god butcher story line and it seems interesting. I am thinking about purchasing it to read, along with god bomb.

What Thor stories would people in this board recommend for someone interested in Thor?

Just to be quick, here's a top 10 list of Thor stories.

    https://comicbook.com/2014/09/28/10-...s-of-all-time/

My favorite runs are Lee/Kirby, Simonson and DeFalco.
I think an easy way to look at Thanos stories is that anything written by Jim Starlin, Ron Marz and Keith Giffen is the real Thanos while anything written by other authors should be dismissed as a Thanosi clone.

Thank you for the response and the link. I have actually already seen this list, but I was trying to get suggestions on Thor storylines that are good but may not have been posted on these list. Or Thor storylines that are not as well known.

I'm a big Black Panther fan, but some of the list online exclude good Black Panther storylines.

Wanted to know from fans who have been reading Thor comics for some time what other good stories are out there. Unless many of you agree with most of the List online of Thor's greatest stories.

Holy crap, I didn't notice that. It's weird how both companies are referencing one another left and right these days.

It's funny cause i don't think anyone mentioned it so far, but it's pretty much them. You have Superman red/blue flying next to the Daily planet and then flying alongside Flash, Green Lantern and Batman and the narration even mentions them God of Sun(Superman), God of emerald light(Green Lantern), god of dark(Batman), God of Ocean(Aquaman), God of Speed(Flash), God of strength(not sure who that could be).

But yea this was Donny referencing all of them, right before he kills them all lol.

And in Doomsday Clock they mentioned Thor and Hulk, so it seems the 2 companies are not really opposed to referencing one another, maybe it might lead to something bigger one day, maybe even another crossover.

Huh. I wonder if some of the contention has died down from before.

Yeah, though he was never actually worthy himself, he just copied Thor's worthiness in one of Slott's crap stories.

She-Hulk #14 from around 2005, during Planet Hulk IIRC. Though in the story itself it's ambiguous whether he was able to pick up because he copied Thor's worthiness or just because he's a robot (like Gabriel the Air-Walker and Zarrko's robot who also lifted the hammer).
