I think an easy way to look at Thanos stories is that anything written by Jim Starlin, Ron Marz and Keith Giffen is the real Thanos while anything written by other authors should be dismissed as a Thanosi clone.
Just read Journey into Mystery #99 (December, 1963), and I can already see how differently Don Heck draws Thor in comparison to Jack Kirby.

I loved Hecks stuff but always felt like he was more suited for the darker stuff. Buscema made Thor look like a god...Buscemas pencils gave Thor such a noble, regal quality.

was reading sif's introduction and thor said he played when she was a baby remarking on how she's grown
sometimes you forget this guy's millenia old and inappropriate those relationships can seem when you aren't with immortals
