I so much prefer this current design to the "Fresh Start" or War of the Realms look.

I wasn't really sold on the new look when it was first revealed but I've grown to really like both the Herald and non-Herald versions of the Klein design, I'm really hoping some merchandise gets made of them soon.

And the metal arm and missing eye just stood out way too much. The gold also just didn't look good either.

The Destroyer arm just reminded me of Thor losing his arm from Malekith because he's apparently so much less capable without a hammer.

I always took it that it was straight after he was deemed unworthy so he became very bull-headed in his frustration. While I agree that it seemed abit too easy on Malekiths part.

Correct me if I'm wrong when he was worthy I don't think a bladed weapon could cut Thor?

All I know is that the new look is amazing and badass. The details with the horns are so cool.

Ahh, totally forgot. So does that mean any Asgardian weapon can kill Asgardians - meaning could Malakith kill Odin with Jarnbjorn?

I don't think "worthiness" has ever defined Thor's base strength and invulnerability. Unless Mjolnir naturally boosted his abilities but I'm not aware of that usually being the case.

I guess Aaron may have been working under the idea that Thor, convinced of his unworthiness, mentally made himself weaker.

It definitely looks a lot better then other depictions of the "Odinson" look. Although he didn't really look like Thor.

(I can't believe I'm now so self-conscious about Thor's last name).
