Yeah, Perez's run on the character usually means any extended run on the character since will end up using the three in some form or another.

Does anyone know which recent issues (like within the last year or two) featured Nubia in the WW comic? What about Donna Troy?

Donna was in Orlando's Four Horsewomen arc from earlier this year.

The second issue of the digital Sensation Comics series from a few years back. That's Circe for reference.

In the wake of so many people calling WW1984 "boring" partly because of the lack of a truly satisfying fight between Cheetah and Diana and because of how she basically beat Maxwell Lord by talking to him, I'd say that the ending of the first film was the right call. Imagine if the first Wonder Woman movie had gained the reputation of being boring? That would not have been good for the franchise moving forward. I don't want every WW film to end in the same ole same ole CGI-heavy battle amid a skybeam and some end-of-the-world bombast, but these are still superhero stories. Yes, I appreciate Diana's loving heart and empathy, but I also appreciate her warrior side. When she has to throw down she will throw down.

WW's probably had a more consistent string over cover artists than writers at times.

Fair enough, though I think I'm also in the minority of I liked the ending we got even if I had my own preferences. Only thing in the ending fight I didn't really like was Ares armored look and that we could see his face. Though that's mostly a fanboy quibble on my part.
