Here is a message from Zack Snyder to fans https://twitter.com/ComicBookDebate/...92418235645959
Will you go back to playing Superman again? I googled right before we talked, because I needed the latest rumor. It is just rumor, after rumor, after rumor. What’s the wildest one you’ve heard about you and Superman?
Henry Cavill: They get wilder and wilder by the day. The amount of speculation, the stuff I read on the Internet, is extraordinary and sometimes frustrating. It’s when you see people stating stuff as fact. Like, “No, that’s not the case. That hasn’t happened, and that conversation isn’t happening.” But the important thing is that people are excited about it, and I think it’s important to be excited about a character like Superman. Superman is a fantastic character. If people are chatting about it, and even if they’re making stuff up, it’s okay, because that means they want to see the character again. And in an ideal world, I would absolutely love to play the character again.
Do you ever leave a comment on a rumor online using an alias?
Henry Cavill: I’m not going to lie; I’ve been very tempted, but there’s something about that, that feels deeply immoral. When it’s about Superman, and if I’m representing Superman, it just feels like the wrong thing to do. I’m just going to let this all play out. Me saying something isn’t going to make a difference. What does it really matter? One day, people will know the truth, and if they don’t know it now, it’s okay.

Man of Steel writer reveals a cut scene that might have explained why Superman kills:
During The Art of Adapting Comics to Screen panel Comic-Con 2020 panel, Goyer said, "I understand people have problems with it. But when adapting something like this... You have to take enormous swings."
The writer went on to reveal a cut scene that might have offered further insight into Superman's mental battle during that controversial moment. "Ironically, there was a scene that we wrote that didn't get filmed in which [Superman's adopted father] Jonathan [Kent] takes young Clark hunting and they kill a deer, and young Clark is just gutted by the act, and Jonathan says, 'It's a powerful thing to take a life, even if you're forced to take a life.' I always thought that would have been interesting... We never filmed it."
He added, "We were trying to tell a different type of Superman story, a Superman story that had never been told before. It required taking some big swings. We talked about it, whether or not people would accept it. The editorial staff at DC had accepted it. That doesn't mean it wasn't a mistake. But if you sit there and go, 'I don't want to take any risk...' That's not a healthy way to approach the material."

First Look at Superman’s Black Suit in Zack Snyder's Justice League showed via Justice Con:
Zack Snyder explained that studio was against black suit, but they made adjustments to the blue-red one so it was easier to recolor it in post-production. Which is why you see Henry Cavill in classic colors in all behind the scenes footage.
Who Is Superman’s Biggest Enemy ? — NOSTALGIA

"Longtime fans will read the book and bitch about it NO MATTER WHAT."
- Grant Morrison
Superman might be mythical(hercules, spartacus, moses... Etc). But, the messianic figure thing was just evolution ofthe character. Moreover, a sight with address "realanarchy" saying superman might appear boring is pretty ironic,if i do say so myself. */smashes cars in anger.
As for everything else, do i believe snyder did anything that can be called new or original? I don't think so. He just gave a new tangent or view point and an arc to what the source material offered. So, saying that snyder made a new and improved superman for new generation is quite false.
Moreover, the article guy had referenced grant Morrison's 18 days. Well, well, well! There are two very interesting characters in that story with same archetype as superman. One especially, is the son of sun god karna who is absolutely badass. So, calling superman boring in that regard is very nonsensical. People just have perception of superman that's actually different from reality.
