Wanda Maximoff: Scarlet Witch Appreciation 2020

I don't think Hickman has a plan for her, and her use in Empyre X-Men was just a one-time throw away appearance. I also don't think they will turn her back into a mutant or restore her relationship with Magneto.

Bailey knocked Widow out of the park, so the question then becomes if she could play another playable hero in the game, who would it be? "Ah, my God. Scarlet Witch, I think she's really awesome," Bailey said. "I mean, I don't know how you would do it, I don't know like, I'm trying to think of what it would be Gameplay-wise."

You can bet fans would love to see Scarlet Witch hit Marvel's Avengers at some point, and fingers crossed it happens sooner than later.

I'd rather Laura have played Wanda than reprise Widow again to be honest.

kinda makes sense but what about the magic in the show, you have a Witch (Agatha) and Wanda being finally called the Scarlet Witch

That theory seems wrong, especially since Wanda wasn't unaware that the Mind Stone was destroyed; Thanos only turned back time on Vision, while everything else stayed the same. So she appeared to be aware that she destroyed the stone and that Thanos brought Vision back and ripped it out again. Plus she was obviously aware that the Mind Stone was no longer in Vision, one way or the other.

I think a lot of fan theories (and I've been guilty of this myself) have taken too seriously the idea that things are being set up in one MCU project and will be resolved in the next one. In fact every movie mostly ignores the last one, even when made by the same people - which is why there was all this buildup about Vision surviving without the Stone (in Infinity War) and this was never referred to again in the next movie.

So WandaVision will take it as a given that Wanda was in love with Vision and he died when the Mind Stone was pulled out of his head. Everything else is up for grabs. It seems plausible that she might somehow recreate Vision the way he was when he was alive, but we don't know that.

Murphy has good scoops but the fan theories on his site seem as clickbait-y as on any other site.

A part of me doesn't want it to be all an ilusion of Wanda using her mental powers mostly because is too different from the real Scarlet Witch, like sorf of "telepathy", i hope if it is all fake it is all magic based.

Kate Higgins should be the voice for Wanda though. Played her in Wolverine and the X-Men, Marvel Heroes and MUA 3.

The problem is that Marvel clearly don't want to fix anything, which is what annoys me. I just want a line drawn under HOM and Decimation and no-one ever looks back. I want Wanda to be herself to have her own stories but that clearly isn't going to happen as long as HOM looms over her

You won't get them really redeeming her either. Or else they wouldn't still be teasing it 15 years later. A break up is best.

I would purchase the game so I can be ready for when Wanda is announced but all the mediocre reviews make me not that interested. I'll just wait to buy it after we get confirmation of Wanda's release date. I'm glad she'll be included but I wish Quicksilver would be added as well.

A lot of the mediocre reviews were based on the beta. It's a fun game. It does have bugs, but so does every game on the market and a lot of those are getting ironed out. The story is pretty amazing and interesting. The characters are done well. And the combat is fun. I'm finishing up leveling Thor, and then will move on to Hulk.

I personally am not a fan of Infinity Stones as the story focus for Wanda, they serves their purpose, I'd rather soemthing unique for Wanda herself.

I would not really say "anti mutant"(in story yes, but not always out of story with the writers), Marvel actually promote mutants, they got continuing prominence, but most writers cannot get out of the "misery porn" narrative.
Wanda nowadays doesn't even get to do the misery porn, her career and presence is basically shut down.

I'm not sure I would call throwing the X-Men from one Mass Extinction event to another, promoting mutants.
