Lol, is that Human Torch? He just gets karate chopped and kicked by Namorita and Namora.
Knowing how strong the Atlanteans are, unless they are holding back you'd think they would have broken Johnny's neck and back with those hits!
Was there brainwashing involved there?

Ah, so they're in the past, and Johnny doesn't realise it. That's why Namorita doesn't recognise Johnny or his mention of the New Warriors. Thanks.

IIRC, it isn't about being the past. Because Namor didn't meet Namorita until years after Johnny discovered him in the Bowery. Also, Namora was believed dead, and she and Namorita never interacted when either of them knew Namor. It's an alternate universe where Atlantis has conquered the surface world. I believe it was called Pax Atlantis or something like that.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

is she back with her basic powers? Is she still Namora's daughter or a clone? She's never been killed, has she? How old is she at this point? What is her romantic history?
What was up with those stints where she was blue with markings?
Namorita died in Civil War, but Nova rescued her from sometime before she turned blue for the second time at the start of the 2005 New Warriors run, during DnA's Nova series later that decade. How that didn't alter history, I don't know, but it looks like she's treated as the same version.
As I understand it, she's Namora's clone and both Namora and Namorita are treated as being Namor's cousins, thus Namora is more like Nita's big sister, not her mother.

I'd like to see this New Warriors series explain Namorita's situation a bit better. I kinda got the impression from the last series that Water Snake was the original Namorita somehow, so we could see her merge with the Nita that came back in Nova and that way she could have all her memories back.
