If Vixen ever needs an extra burst of energy when she's tired, she can always mimic a short-tailed weasel:

Black Panther - Champion of Bast
    Vixen - Champion of Anansi

Lol. I remember the venom Vixen got from Hawkgirl fans.

I also remember enjoying their tears when John chose Mari.

great art but I'm not feeling the color combination. or was this some kind of throwback to the original outfit? I don't know.

The Queen of Fables destroyed the Justice League's HQ with Vixen inside of it. After she regenerates her entire body, someone handed her an old version of her first costume. Which kind of made no sense as she never wore that in the New 52.

After she reformed her body she tapped into the Red and telepathically convinced "The Wishers" around the world to give up their wishes.

Material from the previously unpublished Vixen #1 as seen in Cancelled Comic Cavalcade #2 (Fall, 1978). Art by Bob Oksner.

I actually downloaded the whole issues once. It shows how she activated her abilities through a spell while dancing.

That customer doesn't look that bad in black in white.

It's also interesting that her hair was created to be naturally straight.

...by a White Male artist and writer who likely had no appreciation of natural african hairstyles in 1981. The standard of "beauty" was just different and decidedly Eurocentric regardless of the appropriateness for the character.

How would having long straight hair be Eurocentric? Native Americans and Asians are notorious for having beautiful straight hair, especially the former.
Done with DC. Can't handle the constant whiplash! Time to go on a hiatus!

Think he means Eurocentric in terms of giving straight hair to Vixen.

Yep, one need not be black in order to appreciate African hairstyles.

Likewise, black people need not be Native American, Chinese, or Japanese in order to appreciate Native American, Chinese, or Japanese hairstyles either.

This. Storm was initially conceived in much the same way, a white woman dipped in chocolate rather than having features more generally associated with black African women. It’s certainly a reflection of times when characteristics like kinky hair and wider noses were considered inferior to traditional European looks. It’s no surprise that Vixen, DC’s first solo black female hero held to that convention given when she was created. When you also consider the technical limitations of the day and the inability of many artists even now to properly draw black features its even less shocking.
