Default Which Deathstroke series is your favorite?

Looks like he's had 4 volumes of a solo series, which one was your favorite?

Priest because he never pretended that Deathstroke was actually a 'misunderstood antihero' or had a 'moral code'.

Priest should be the only allowed to write Deathstroke from now on.

Priestroke is the only Deathstroke run I’ve read that I thought was great.

Ok thanks so much for the overwhelming recommendation!

Now, what if I want a good background on Deathstroke? Should I read a few New Teen Titans issues? Some old Batman issues? Just to get a sense of his background and abilities.

Priest explains everything, but if you want to read some background, the Judas Contract is probably the best choice.

The Priest Series and then Wolfman, although the quality level goes up and down throughout the series.

You could read the 90's 'Deathstroke The Terminator' series by Woflman. They reprinted them a few years back

Wolfman, I can't stand Priest nonlinear writing (and some some his plots make either no sense or that convoluted that I'm not willing to put the time and efford in to understand what was going on) and the two other series are pretty bad.

Wolfman and Tony Daniels were both good. Although Wolfman really got the character and showed him as a miserable bastard at times...Daniel not so much, it's just more fun adventures....but entertaining as hell though.

    I haven't read the other 2.

Priest's run is the one to go for.

Wolfman, for the original characterization and background info.

Now no one was putting down any writers and just naming the run by the writer they liked until you, but at least you admitted that you put no time and effort into what your read nor want stimulating reading material.
My priority is black female characters; everything else is secondary.

From what I remember the Higgin's run got great reviews back then and I liked the art. Made a vow not to read anything written or drawn by Daniels. Has anyone picked up Priest's Vampirella and USAgent yet?

Priest by far. The only other name I'll mention is Wolfman, more for Titans tho
    The J-man
