You should mention it every day.

And as.far as Gilliam goes, he's always been a cynical, pessimistic ****. Have you seen his movies? And he has been all about Don Quixote for a while now which is about as pessimistic as it gets. Crazy man jousting at windmills representing the status quo and never winning. Been a cranky old fart his whole career.
Reality is for those who are afraid of science fiction.

He was the showrunner and head writer for Avengers: Black Panther's Quest. Maybe I've got the titles wrong, but he was in charge . . . and he was spectacular.

Is there any chance of it coming back? You should also shoot your shot for the next person to write Black Panther Comic Book with Marvel.

Okoye is going to appear in the new Taskmaster series. The rest of the AoW and maybe T'Challa too might appear somewhere down the road.

Everybody's talking about how Shuri stole the spotlight in BP but it's Okoye, T'Challas day one, ride or die chick who's got the staying power

Possibly because she's the only BP cast member Coates hasn't messed up.

He's still got another year or two on BP. He'll get around to frakking her up.

Yup. W’Kabi and Zuri have stayed dead to help fuel T’Challa’s angst this entire run. Rather than redeem or at least retcon Nakia, Coates introduced some time warpy intergalactic version with no connection to Earth-616. After over 2 years Shuri still hasn’t found a consistent middle ground between her pre-Secret Wars, MCU, and Griot characterization which effects everything from her demeanor to powers.

That’s not even speaking on how Ross is MIA in the current book and Kaspar has been displaced as T’Challa’s protege by an Australian mutant he’s got no chemistry with. Okoye is the only member of the BP supporting cast from the movie that can be smoothly transitioned from the Coatesverse to the larger MU.

They were. Marvel replaced the actors with CGI models in some scenes.

I agree with the critiques that we should have had more conversations take place.

    W'Kabi and Killmonger
    Nakia and Killmonger
    T'Challa and Killmonger
Can't forget the W'Kabi/Okoye deleted scene

The conversations were some of the best stuff. Too bad

Lets hope the sequel can be 2hrs 30 mins.

Could have cut some of the corny Shuri jokes for that W'Kabi/Okoye convo.

Killmonger is everything T'Challa is. He just lacks to ability to critically analyze his own actions and emotions, but he's good at analyzing everyone else's. I stan them both for different reasons of course.

I like that outlook. You could make parallels off them similar to Magneto and Charles off that. Or Malcom and Martin. I love how Magneto and Killmonger have similar names

Speaking of Erik though a whatif where he remained King of Wakanda would be really cool.

    Oh well, more money saved.

The pole dancers will be thrilled.
