Funny how the most prominent black super hero created by a black writer (other than Shuri) and has had an extended stint/relation with BP in The Ultimates team....is EXCLUDED/NEGLECTED.

    BLUE MARVEL.

BTW...how many superheroes and supervillains in Marvel were created by black writers irrespective of race or designation of the superhero or supervillain (with powers)?

While you mentioned how cool it was that he only spoke when necessary, it also made him kinda just be there in the background which was annoying at times.

I would much rather see him like he was when he took over ad the leader of the Avengers or BP quest Where he is the focus. Because where as yes he may not of pulled some of the same mystique in EMH, he did pull some of that in PQ and he also pulled some level power that wasn't seen in EMH because he wasn't nthe focus
Whether BP is the focus or not is not the issue....its how well he is written and portrayed.

Its meaningless to be given the focus and be horridly written....compared to being part of a team and be mesmerisingly captivating.

In Priests BP series he also only spoke when necessary, that didn't make him feel like a background character even when Ross was handling most of the narration.

Y'all remember when you said BP at his best is basically cross between Doom and Deathstroke.... Hyper operatic speaker is not BP.

Whatever happened to being the best PokerFace on the planet? To being utterly unreadable?

EMH panther delivered this by the truck load....PQ panther was no different than say peter parker or tony stark without the constant quips....IMHO.

Nothing wrong with letting Tchalla monologue here and there either if you really want to "engage" the character....just because a character is not verbose doesn't mention they can not be engaging.

I guess reverting Tony Stark back to using ONLY his first clunky iron suit he made in a cave as his current ongoing costume in today's setting... ignoring the later mechsuits or additions or upgrades would be superb, right?

We get to see flamethrower clunky Tony in glorious action because he doesn't need any of the other tech he created later.
Emh panther was cool but he was much less capable then Pq Tchalla.
Haaaahaha!

In PQ, how many times did BP fall on his flat on his ass like a cheap roadside ragdoll when he was hit compared to EMH?

Every time BP tried to sneak into any place he was ALWAYS CAUGHT and either had to fight his way out or get detained in PQ...meanwhile BP was able to get and out of Avengers HQ undetected if he hadn't CHOOSEN to assist Cap in that fight in EMH...this skill was many times across later EPs.
The skrull invasion where 5 avengers stalemate the wakandan military is undefendable. That wouldn't have happened to PQ Tchalla. He and Shuri would have put on a show.
These are the *AVENGERS*, Marvel's leading prime superhero team who have fought and defeated allnkinds of intergalactic and trans-dimensionally powerful beings and forces and Wakandan military were able to "stalemate" them...how is that not a win for Wakandan Military who held their ground successfully????

Isn't that the point of any national military???

And this is the exact same show that had BP singlehandedly humiliate an entire team of Avengers

All that was in man... I can conscede some props/praise for PQ in the BP vs Thor and BP v Ironman but all that occurred in one EP.
As for inconsistent power level displays, thats a trademark of the character at this point. Tchalla typically plays to the level of his opponents while concealing his true powers and abilities.
There was no "concealing" anything in PQ by BP regarding his abilities ...dude was just straight basic.

In EMH, we keep saying him pull out moves man... That surprise of seeing BP shapeshift his energy daggers or walking /standing on the side of walls on ceiling (hadn't seen it anyway post Priests run by then), those vanishing skills and how team would react to that...lol, even how he used them dagger as time bombs or show/uses his enhanced senses of hearing and smell ...all these were never acknowledged in PQ.
Those peaks are shown to be much higher in PQ then the were in EMH
Aready answered.

    Revised 90s Deathlok (McDuffie)
    Tom Foster (Black Goliath 2)

There might be others but I can't think of them.

Priests Panther worked because no one knew Much about the character and Priest literally had to rebuild him from the ground up. So in EMH that same Panther could be channelled. However in BP quest, T'Challa wasn't exactly chatty.

Sure he talked more because he was the main character and he needed to, but to say he was no different then Tony or Peter, when those characters actually show up in the series and he interacts with them and you can see the vast difference between how talkative they are and how little he actually speaks. A better comparison to personality between the two is in EMH he is more akin to Priest version and in PQ he is more akin to Hudlin version. But even then that's not entirely true because Redjack has a unique take that mixes the two versions.

Also I would hardly say PQ T'Challa is readable or wears his heart on his sleeve, he was very pragmatic and secretive, but again as he is the main character, and there isn't a narrator to add more mystique, we are going to know a little more about what's going on then the characters.

Perfect example being after the episode The last Avenger where T'Challa purposefully allows himself to be beaten by Bucky so he can be taken to prison to bust out klaw.

Adding to that point by Ezyo, Tchalla kept secrects from both Shuri, The avengers (the hidden planes and weapons to deal with Then/Thor), and Captain America. He was still playing poker while everyone else except Killmonger played chess. He also kept secrects from Miss Marvel in the inhumans episode. Tony even complained about all the secrects he was keeping. Miss Marvel stated that Tchalla always has a plan. Tchalla told Shiri he always has backup plans for his backup plans. Thats as true to the character as it gets
He was well within character. Just as much as he was in EMH. He never spoke with having a point to make and since its his show we should be Happy to hear him speak more.

Pq Tchalla is the best animated and cinematic version of the character we've gotten as far as being truely in character.
