I have only one thing to say to my brother Black Panther fans who are not willing to settle for a chump without any agency:

    Smile Black Panther Appreciation 2020!

Another Year, another Black Panther Appreciation thread!

    For historical purposes:

    Black Panther Appreciation 2019

    https://community.cbr.com/showthread.php?119808-Black-Panther-Appreciation-2019

The BP Thread for 2018 lasted from August 5 2018 to Dec 31 2018.

    T'Challa: Black Panther Appreciation 2018
    https://community.cbr.com/showthread...reciation-2018

The thread before that one was the first BP Appreciation thread after the reboot in 2014.
With 77,782 posts, it was one of the longest threads on this entire forum!

    Black Panther Appreciation: Wakanda Forever!
    https://community.cbr.com/showthread...akanda-Forever!

Here's to the best thread on CBR!

I wanted to post the image of T'challa telling the little boy who worshiped him that, he was a man and God works through them both and there is nothing T'challa can achieve that the boy is not capable of.

File was too big but it is the "K'Shan" scene from the awesome Hudlin series and is fine portrayal of The King!
It is a great example what I love about the character.

I'm glad to see this appreciation thread return. Hoping for the best in 2020!
We are the Dora Milaje. We are the daughters of the 18 tribes of Wakanda. We are the teeth of the Panther God. Out of 10,000 years of sweat and bloodshed and battle are we born. We are the women of this ancient land. Deadliest of the species. And our time has come!

This was the scene I was referring to and I appreciate you found an image that this forum can handle.

What T'Challa represents shouldn't be insulted or denigrated by anyone.

    Have a Happy New Year!

From Stelfreeze for the Marvel voices special. I believe this will be a variant cover. This is the type of non action/drama interactions that Coates is missing.

To start the new year on a positive note for Black Panther fans, here are my top Black Panther stories:

    1. Enemy of the State 2
    2. Strum Und Drang
    3. Rise of the Black Panther
    4a. Back to Africa
4b. Black to the Future - Black Panther Annual #1 Vol 4 (by Hudlin)
    5. Black Panther # 14 Vol 3 (by Priest)
    6. See Wakanda and Die/Secret Invasion
    7. Avengers: Ultron Unlimited
    8. Black Panther # 1 Vol 4 (by Hudlin)
    9. Fantastic Four #52-53/Tales of Suspense #97-99,Captain American #100

To me, these story show why T'Challa is on the same level as other great superheroes like Iron Man, Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, etc. Feel free to post your favorite Panther stories. Stories 1- 4b are set for me for the most part, but the order of my enjoyment in them may change from time to time.

For those new to T'Challa/Black Panther and want to start reading comics about him, I recommend Rise of the Black Panther, Who is the Black Panther, Black Panther:See Wakanda and Die/Secret Invasion & Black Panther: The Client. These are good initial stories that show why T'Challa is a great character/hero and the wonderful world of Wakanda.
