    This had to happen...

    Wakanda.

    Actually... The Nowhere Room.

King T'challa: "Thank you for accepting my request Bruce."

Bruce Wayne: "No problem King T'challa but please make this brief I have to get back to Gotham to strike fear in the hearts of wicked men."

King T'challa: "Yes, about that allow me to introduce you to a good friend of mine in the Marvel universe... Blade."

Bruce Wayne: "The Daywalker I have heard of you."

    Blade: "Indeed."

King T'challa: "Blade came to me after he noticed an unusual rift in the time space continuum between our two respective universes."

    Bruce Wayne: "Go on."

King T"challa: "Blade why don't you explain to him the problem."

    Blade: "You're a billionaire right."

Bruce Wayne: "I am though not as wealthy as the king of Wakanda."

Blade: "You have a man named Lucius Fox making wonderful toys for you right."

Bruce Wayne: "Mister Fox runs my R&D department so yes."

Blade: "So explain to me why you are currently driving my car."

Bruce Wayne: "WHAT... Oh you mean the muscle car look I'm rocking now."

Blade: "My guy Whistler used to hook me up with the Fast and The Furious Detroit Muscle upgrades back in the 90's so why are you swagger jacking!"

Bruce Wayne: "Oh not that again... T'challa I thought we were past that when you disputed my whole 'Batgod' contingency plan persona!"

King T'challa: "I didn't care then and I don't now but Blade has a valid point here as far as intellectual property goes. He does the muscle car Shaft look while you do the 'Wonderful Toys' schtick."

Bruce Wayne: "The jealousy in here right now is palpable..."

King T'challa: "1.3 Billion Dollars says I'm not jealous plus Blade set things off while you were still wearing bat nipples back in the day."

Bruce Wayne: "Why you bringing up old stuff... Look, Joker just became the most profitable super hero related movie ever and we at DC are about to ride that wave past the Thanos initiative all day every day so there."

Blade: "Just give me my car back."

    Bruce Wayne: "Okay here..."

Bruce Wayne angrily tosses the car keys at Blade and storms out of the Nowhere Room cape flowing and melting into the darkness around him as he departs.

    King T'challa: "Settled."

    Blade: "We good, thanks."

King T'challa: "Good luck with your reboot."

I have a Wakandan flag in my garage gym because of the movie

Black Panther has been in various app/video games because of the movie.

Black Panther got his own cartoon spin off which was awesome because of the movie

Numerous collected editions came out because of the movie. Priest, Hudlin, Liss, Panther's Rage, Gillis. There was basically no collected editions before the movie stuff started.

BP vs DP existed because of hte movie

Rise of the Black Panther existed because of the movie

BP was in Ultimates and Avengers because of the movie (to varying degrees of success)

I have hours of entertainment thanks ot Civil War, BP, IW, and Endgame which feature BP in varying degrees.

Yes, Coates sucks, but the movie has been an overwhelming success for BP fans.

And, also, GoG and CM have been rebooted multiple times with many different writers because sales wise they've always eventually tanked. BP is going to get another solo with another writer BECAUSE of the movie instead of going into limbo land just like they did.
I agree with the stuff above in BOLD. I was mainly referring to the movies impact on the comic book. Regarding the underlined statement, I hope we get another run & that it is good.

Shame this scene was cut. It explains and developed wkabi and okoeyes relationship and gave clearer agency for wkabi and his turn

Lets hope he fights harder for Tchalla.

So I went to Barnes and Noble and saw the new edition of the Marvel encyclopedia on the shelf. I grabbed it raced home to read about black panthers updated page because he's on the cover and I see that his superpowers say... Olympic-level athlete combat specialist weapons training...thats it

Im like...ok.. then I go to read about Doom, Reed, Ant-Man and others. Under their superpowers it says super-genius level intellect.

    I'm like okay....

Then I go to read about Shuri....and her powers state Advanced genius level intellect.

And ppl wonder why i hate on MCU Tchalla's depiction.
if it's not corrected now then it's going to be the standard in the future for all versions of him.
He will be nothing more than a more athletic Noble Wolverine

    So spoilers:
In the new BW trailer, Taskmaster seems to be copying T'Challa's fighting style, and even has Panther claws as well
    end of spoilers

    Guardians are in Thor 4.

I'm thinking they are going big for Black Panther 2 as well. Not saying more MCU characters just making it another big event film.

Seems that way with the Doctor Strange Multiverse stuff and now Thor 4.

I was ok with Coogler's T'Challa because I know he was setting up a lot of stuff.

I think fans and even him thought the Russos would move T'Challa further along in the Avengers films...

In hindsight I think Coogler would have did more if he knew how things will turn out.

I do think T'Challa's "importance" to the MCU rides on how well his character is received in the sequel.

I somewhat agree except for the fact that I don't dislike MCU T'Challa. I was never a fan of taking T'Challa's supreme intellect and giving it to Shuri in the first place but I guess they wanted Shuri to stand out more amongst the BP supporting cast
