    It's still really annoying though.
He will def be there. I mean ****, Iron Man isn't in the trailer either.

But like you said... why isn't he a flagship character? Why isn't he used to bring people to the game? Why isn't he used to build hype?

Cynically, I would say there isn't enough POC at Marvel as a whole to cause any real change. Sure, BP movie made money, sure, merch flew off the shelves, sure, it pulled in a completely new demographic for Marvel... but the people who have the power to do stuff at Marvel still would rather slide in the characters they identify with and like when they get the chance.

Y'all recommending Kwanza? He only has one good book and it was mostly the art carrying it.

Hey, Eve Ewing was OK on IronHeart. Editorial needs to tell them how to do their job and not give us 25 issues of dragged out crap. Not even Remender went that hard.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if she got it but it will send be right back to the sunken place.

IH was an easy character to write really. She has no history, there is barely any canon to stick with. She barely has any fans. She was mostly a blank slate.

And I will be 100% honest. I don't want a woman on the title. I don't trust it. Too much temptation with Shuri, Okoye, Storm, Ayo, Aneka, Ramanda, and hell, QDJ around. I will be fearful every single issue it will turn into the same T'challa hating garbage the title has been the last few years. Gay was horrible. Nnedi sucked. I don't really want a strike 3.

Man, Nnedi was alright on the 3-parter for the DMs but Shuri was boring as Hell.

They should give BP to Christos Gage. Superior Spider-Man was damn good.

At this point, I would like Evan Narcisse or just a pro comic book writer to helm the main Black Panther comic. That's why I've dropped names like J. Michael Straczynski or Mark Waid & Chris Samnee. I've read other stuff these people have written when the goal was to revitalize a character, and it was good.

Let's please just revitalize T'Challa. Coates had a chance and he screwed it up on purpose.

It's what I have been noticing for a while but at least the multiverse of madness is coming up so Marvel needs to push him a bit I guess and he was cited as many people's favs in Infinity War so Strange has those things going for him.

Don't forget Yona Harvey, and Vita Ayala. Like do we have to go through the same thing CM fans went through before tchalla gets a decent writer again

Oh yeah, Nnedi and her cracked out Nakia story was great.. just like her Shuri story, and long live the king. It was hot garbage.

Yeah, I think that the emphasis on Strange might be an issue of synergy with his upcoming movie. Based on the video game trailer, it seems to be putting emphasis on various other heroes in the multiverse, which in turn seems to be sharing a similar theme to Stranges upcoming movie. And his movie comes out a few months after the game is releases, so it all makes sense marketing wise.

Bruh....when Black Panther stepped out of the portal...bruh, every time I saw it in the theater even well after the debut. The audience went straight bananas!!!

The Hollywood Reporter has an article crediting Coates for being responsible for T'Challa's rise in popularity and a quote from Bob Iger's memoir that claims Coates' run is why the Black Panther movie was greenlit. The movie was publicly greenlit in 2014 and Ryan was hired and started writing the movie before Coates' run even started. So either they misread the memoir or Iger straight up lied. Not to mention it was the film announcement, his CW appearance, and solo responsible for his new popularity. They also failed to mention that his two spinoffs were quickly canceled.

It is fellatio time for all the people who haven't even paid attention to the comic after issue #3 lol.

They will all act like this is a momentous occasion and how will Black panther recover

ignoring the fact they sold what... 11K issues last month?

Whatever, good riddance, no one will even care in 4 months.

This is just another way to potentially jack up sales the last 3 issues.
