I want a mew writer to write something I look forward to reading every month. It's been a week. Or a month. Well shit, it's been years.
Reality is for those who are afraid of science fiction.

    1. T'Challa with a new love interest(Queen Zanda).

    2. T'Challa vs his own version of the Sinister Six.

    3. T'Challa travels to the Negative Zone.

    4. A Black Panther/Cap/Winter Soldier/Black Widow story arc.

A political thriller with an Afrofuturistic aesthetic. Make it global, make it awesome.

No more internal squabbling or crippling self-doubt. Gimme some competence porn.

Honestly, I think the supremacists would be a good one to upgrade to modern times, especially in this climate. They are already there and set-up. I only want RJs Zanda, no other will suffice.

So with them your thinking like an espionage type story! May as well throw Okoye In there too gotta have hos ride or die chick with him

I would like someone to explore the origin or vibranium and having it be apart of an old race that relies on it and they are coming to earth to fuel their own world's civil war (the resource is running scarce on their planet and they are trying to find a way to end their war which requires Wakandas vibranium as it's the largest deposit in the universe. They come to earth and they aren't fooling around they are sporting advanced tech and the world is scared, Wakanda curb stomps them Which makes the rest of the world get nervous and plotting to find a way to dismantle Wakandas government

I want a story starting with Tchallas return from Secrect wars holding the time stone. (Erasing all of coats work)

Then i want a Www (World War Wakanda) beginning with the decimation of Doom and Latvertia followed by conflict with the rest of the world trying to intervene and get wakanda too sue for peace.
I want a full showcasing of wakanda's potential so that the world never turns on them again like they did in time runs out

I also want all these white moms to stop writing articles about why Shuri should become the New Black Panther in Black Panther 2 and have Tchalla killed off with the excuse that "its happened in the comics" as if they've read them.

Intorduce a new female character called the Coal Tiger (Jack Kirby and Stan Lee's original name for Black Panther). Coal Tiger would serve as foil for Black Panther, almost like the Catwoman to his Batman. Think Queen of Crime becomes anti-hero. Her protective suit would also be made out of a polymer Vibranium weave.

I can't think of particular storylines outside ones that most have already mentioned (exploring the origin of vibranium/its relationship to the gods, Wakanda as a world power and projecting power rather than being on the defensive, space exploration, high concept geopolitical espionage). I have an idea of general principles and vibes I'd like to see though.

    1. A re-centering of the franchise on T'Challa. No more Black Panther as an ensemble franchise or a vehicle for black women that will likely never hold their own book. Taking ownership of T'Challa as the indisputable face of the franchise, I want to see him fleshed out in every possible way. At his core he is an enlightened reformist warrior king, explore what that means for him on a personal level, what is the motivating factor behind his heroism? How does he deal with the dualities of being a humanitarian while at the same time being a king who must put his people first? What about super-scientist vs man of faith?Adventurer vs Steward of a civilization? Explore the implications of his worldview and show him as a good man AND a good king. Give him layers and complexity. Don't be overly poetic about it, but let people know he's a dude with a lot on his mind but who is still a badass man of few words.

    2. Worldbuilding. Doing so in a way that doesn't feel hamfisted in and actually flow with the plot. The Black Panther is a line going back over 10k years, their champions of gods and heroes of civilization. I want to learn more about their exploits, their failures, and how T'Challa approaches the problems they did. Explore other institutions of Wakanda, like the Hekima Shule and their new foreign exchange programs, holidays held in the Necropolis, sporting events meant to facilitate joking relationships between the tribes. Develop Wakandan spirituality in particular and their relationship to the gods, the civilian uses of tech, and more.

    3. Upgrade and introduce villains both old and new. With the success of the first film, it would be irresponsible to not use villains like Klaw, Killmonger, and M'Baku, but they need upgrades to their personalities, backstories, worldviews, powers, interactions with T'Challa. Revamp them along with groups like the Originators, the People, the Collectors, Moses Magnum, Achebe, and more. Straight up retcon backgrounds if a writer has to, just make them almost as complex as T'Challa while keeping their threat level up. Have T'Challa lose to some of them initially before winning. Have them slaughter C-D list villains by the groups to establish their threat. Give them well defined roles and status quos and BS a way for them to not die so they don't stay on ice for a decade.

    4. Notice how this is second to last lol. A great supporting cast is cool and all but characters with much weaker supporting characters than T'Challa nonetheless remain more popular than him among regular comic readers. That said, it's essential that whoever comes on next knows how to balance T'Challa's needs as the lead with the need for an interesting line-up of secondary characters. Pick 3-4 characters as the "core" supporting characters, appearing issue to issue and getting development alongside the main hero (once again, not to the same degree, they should NEVER have more agency than T'Challa).

One of them must be a non-Storm love interest who gets at least 20 issues before being switched out for a new girl and the other must be Shuri. That gives a writer two leftover spots. Like with villains, give these characters personalities, status quos, and usage as more than just exposition devices while exploring how they impact T'Challa but more importantly how he affects them. Does T'Challa's cosmopolitan values effect some change in Shuri (making her more like her MCU counterpart? Does he reconnect with Monica Lynne and Kaspar Cole (who should become Coal Tiger)?

    5. Feats. No one likes a lead that doesn't do cool shit. And I'm not just talking about combat (though that is without doubt the most important). I want to see T'Challa declare the potential of humanity in front of the Galactic Council in one of those epic speeches they like to give Cap. Tricking the White Gorilla God in a game of wit, being made the leader of the Collectors as he infiltrates their organization so he can take down Zanda. Like Digicom said, I want competence porn. Give T'Challa his poker face back and have him execute plans. Doesn't mean he won't make miscalculations or burn some bridges unintentionally along the way, but I want T'Challa to be confident and cool under pressure and rarely crack when pushed up against the wall. No crying unless his dad is telling him some wild, life changing stuff or they kill off a lover.

That is all, not too much to ask for lol

I would to see a story that picks up where the mcu left off. Let's see T'Challa plan to expand and build in Africa. As he starts engaging with other nations he will start meeting other heroes and villains, so that could threaten the hero community, and some the world itself. Wakanda should properly introduce themselves to their immediate world. Wakanda driving Africa to the world's superpower and type of trouble that comes with that would be cool to see. I'm thinking Hickman's future scenarios level stuff here. Imagine the type of opposing force spawning from this.

    Got another idea.

In the not too distant future, Storm and Erik Killmonger have a child together named Erika Munroe. Erika's savagery whilst serving in a mutant strike team would earn her the nickname Stormonger.

Stormonger would lead an entire mutant attack squad back in time to slay T'Challa and take his throne.

It's interesting (though not surprising) that most of the major Youtube channels and comic culture websites are pushing the replace T'Challa with Shuri direction. But I've seen over the last few days sentiment changing towards a recast, especially on Reddit and social media.

Granted, these aren't good measures of what your average fan/viewer would want, but they are an indicator on some level. I think that this is a delicate issue that requires time. If in one week recasting has gone from a non-option to something championed by 10-20% of the fandom then if Marvel gives itself an extra year or two it could be something received with only a bit of controversy.

As time goes on, whatever Coogler decides to do will be less controversial either way. Emotions will die down.

That said, there will still be complaints either way. Which in a way is liberating... if people are going to complain no matter what you do, then trying to make everyone happy is ultimately futile. Coogler can just do whatever the heck he wants, and the people aren't as open to whatever he decides to do can just learn to live with it. The vast majority of people I think will be okay with it either way, because either way we'll likely get a cool movie out of it.
