Honestly, I really enjoyed that scene. Given Rachel's past with the Warwolves, her taking the pup in came across as a more meaningful expression of mercy than Betsy feeling bad because she killed its family. I love that Rachel and others in X-factor will have jobs in this new era. I love the idea of the division of labor in the mutant society. There are so many tasks/jobs to be done. Both Jean and Rachel get to use their powers to solve mysteries, whether it is a missing person or a some threat to the mutant nation.
I expect Leah to use Rachel well.
