Villain: The Leader

Synopsis: The Avengers and the Hulk storm the Leader’s hidden orbital stronghold. They soon discover the Leader’s plans to travel back in time and bombard the Earth with gamma rays in order to create the human race as intellectual gamma beings. The Avengers are transported through time, leaving the Hulk and She-Hulk to rescue them.

Commentary: Straight-forward action issue. Banner’s insecurities as the Hulk seem to have disappeared, but they’ll creep up later on.
