He fought one, although i dunno if i would call it fighting per se, since Hulk got swallowed as soon as he appeared on the battlefield and then burst out of it's stomach.

After that - I can only assume we will be in the big lead up to what could be the finale. (If Ewing still intends on 50 issues, it’s about time to start putting everything together)

Can't wait, going by the covers alone it seems either Leader kills the children and frames Hulk for it or he does something to Hulk with the knowledge he gained and makes HIM kill the children, maybe releases the locked up personality inside Hulk or something.

I think issue 50 is where Ewing has said he plans to end, but we’ll see. I do think those two issues are going to kick off the final act.

I mean only if they manage to stretch it for like 15 issues, but i don't think so, i still think the final arc will be finally confronting and dealing with Brian Banner and The One Below All for good.

I spent more time thinking about this, Al has said that Gammon will return and work with Leader. My theory is that Gammon will come back in the form of a Hulk robot body and kill innocent people and that will be caught on camera or by witnesses and Hulk will be blamed for the entire thing, after that EVERYONE will go after Hulk.

That's my prediction at least.

The Hulk comics sort of had a habit of Banner getting a happy ending and then it all gets so much worse. Granted, this does happen with other superheroes too at times (although not as frequently).


Banner finally cured, attempts to marry Betty? Leader shows up and reverses it.

Hulk gaining Banner's mind and becoming a hero and proper scientist=Ends up with him eventually becoming totally savage and his worst rampages
.

Hulk making peace with Ross? Betty dies (Although eventually she is revived, although given her own gamma curse).

Rick and Marlo get married, Betty grows to accept the merged Hulk? Pantheon collapses within, Betty badly wounded, Merged now turning into Savage Banner and forced to hide in Florida.

Planet Hulk? 'Nuff said.

Banner finally cured of the Hulk? Civil War II happens, gets shot in the head, Hulk re-emerges a year later but with the "Devil Hulk" now the dominant persona.
