Why no blackest night omnibus on comixology ?

I just came across the dc sale on comixology and saw the dc essential blackest night on sale. Ive been wanting to read it for a long time now so I figured this was a good time to get it, I tried to also check if they had the full story line omnibus collected but there is none to be found. Why wouldn't DC release their omnibus of blackest night digitally ???

It's because for the full story you need to read is the complete run of Geoff Johns on Green Lantern.
In 2006 (in think), Geoff Johns takes over the Green Lantern serie up to 2011.
What he does is magestic. He revives Hal Jordan in a sublime story - Green Lanter: Rebirth.
Then he will write a long run on the Green Lantern title.
Now that Hal is back, lots of hidden secrets will come up.
You will learn that The Green is not the only collors of the emotion spectrum and many others exist.
As the stories goe, each faces of the different lights are revealed (I won't spoil). Causing all sorts of conflicts such as the great Sinestro Corps War.
All those revelations, lead to the realisatioin of the Blackest Night profecy, where all the colors will get into a fight that will distroy the univers.


Thus, you can find Blackest Night, as well as Brightest Day in the Green Lantern by Geoff Johns massive omnibus books.
On comixology you can find those 3 massive omnibus.

To conclude, reading "Blackest Night" on its own is a waste. You'll miss out a lot.

Yea call me lazy but I just to have the whole thing in one book in chronological order to read, like the physical omnibus heh. Guess I'll wait and see if they ever put it on digital format, if not, oh well, guess i'll never know whats it all about.
