I see the blond Flash on the top left is from a one off story where Patty Spivot gets super speed from the silver age. And the brunette in the green without the mask is another one off story from there.

Well the obvious endings are either that the kids disappear or they come back with Wally so a surprise ending has me curious what it could be. Hopefully something good.

A good surprise would be continues in Wally West: Flash #1. Appeasment is fine and all, but things need to go somewhere and actually lead to something.

I've been through Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, Star Trek, Star Wars, Babylon 5, The Well of Souls series, Myst/Riven, The Foundation Series, H.G. Wells, everything Ray Bradbury, Tolkien and a slew of magical ripoffs, Douglas Adams, politics, family get togethers....

Science Fiction/fantasy books, movies, TV, games, radio plays, have been my bread and butter since I was three years old.
So I doubt I'll actually be surprised.
I do, however, hope to be delighted to the point of chafing to get the trade.

1. Wally stuffs the dark world into the tube thingee and keeps his kids there for visits. The kids are alive and out of everyone's hair save for special moments.
2. Wally threatens the Cosmic Lounge Chair to go get his kids or he'll sell its parts to Walt Disney for a new Tron movie. Or beat the stuffing out of it. Whatever works.
3. Wally uses the Power of Luv to make the Darkness turn into light. (I swear I saw this in a Doctor Who episode. Unfortunately.)
4. Wally is actually Batman in disguise. (It's the best reason as to why DC ed actually okayed this book.)
4a. Swiss Cheese Fudgenuts is actually J'onn J'onzz in disguise.
6. Wally will wake up in the shower. (It was all a dream.)
7. Chair: "Wally, I am your father."
8. Linda wakes up in the shower. (It was all a dream.)
9. Walter West shows up with the real kids from Hypertime.
10. We wake up in the shower. (It was all a dream.)
11. Mopee wakes up in the shower. (It was all a dream.)
12. Wally saves the day, kicks butt, becomes an A-list character again, the DCU implodes, God wakes in the shower. (It was all a dream.)
